Mr. Rooter Plumbing of San Joaquin County

Today I met the best plumber in the world Mr. John Clark from Mr. Rooter plumbing. I love this company and my plumber John he explained everything to me the how and the why he even took out time to show me what he needed to do on my new house. John was kind and he did great work. Thank you John for being so patient you are the best! I definitely recommend John Clark!

I was given an estimate of $ 634.00 to replace a main water shut-​off valve. The technician Josh Celestine seemed like a good man so I trusted him enough to give me a fair price. He told me they do not charge by the hour but charge for the job. He never showed me the pricing on his book. I told him that we live paycheck to paycheck and this will put us in a financial burden for the month. He dropped the price down to $ 500.00. Clearly. this tells me that he’s not being honest about their pricing and just calculated numbers and see if I bite. Due to time constraint and we needed water I decided to have him do it. This company is not honest and would not recommend this to anyone.

I used their web page to request service for a licking bathtub on Thursday. Within an hour their scheduler called and schedule a tech for Friday.
Plumbers are always late but the scheduler continually called me with updates. When Joshua arrived he was clean, professional, knowledgeable and did an excellent job.
Pricing…well I can’t say they were unreasonable or reasonable but they were laid out on a chart so you know what exactly you’re paying for. I really liked that.
They will be getting my business the next time a plumber is needed.

They worked very closely with me and my particular situation to bring about a speedy and complete resolution. I really was impressed with their willingness to adjust their appointments to accommodate my needs. I’ve had Mr. Rooter take care of my plumbing needs in the past and was again very impressed with their professionalism and sincere customer relations. They genuinely cared about my needs and took care of them to my utmost satisfaction. When additional outside work needed to be done, the team (and especially John) worked hand in hand with the other company to get the job done. I called to get an estimate to replace a tub spout and kitchen faucet. They were unable to give me a price by phone and offered to send a technician. I asked the technician about the cost of the visit and was informed they come out to investigate for free. After inspecting the items, he sat down and gave me quotes to replace both items and then just one. At NO TIME was I informed there was a $ 191 service fee. Based on the written estimate, it appeared the tub spout was going to cost me $ 241.36. After convincing us to add the membership, the total cost was $ 306.96. Keep in mind, they only replaced the tub spout with diverter, NOTHING ELSE.
I decided to check prices online and found the same part was priced $ 16-​$ 25. When I called to question them, I received a call back from the technician trying to explain their overhead costs to me.
I would not recommend this company. If you decide to use their service, make sure you get ALL information upfront before you authorize the work.

I feel very lucky to find this company to help me out promptly. I got an urgent call from my tenants today; they found lots of water on their driveway. I searched Unilocal,I remembered I saw Mr. Rooter cars on road many times. So, I called Mr. Rooter at noon. Leetta picked the call and made the arrangement for me right away. Very quickly, John went to the property. John is an honest and experienced professional plumber. He checked the problem, and told me that that issue was belong to the City. I am impressed by his high integrity. He could charge me some money, but he did not charge me one penny. Both Leetta and John are very helpful! They even try to save me more money in the future. I believe: with such great staffs at Mr. Rooter, this company will grow very fast. I will definitely use this company again. I strongly recommend this company to ALL!

Thank you Mr Rooter and your technician Mark Dominguez. We live in an older manufactured home. For the past 3 weeks I have been dealing with a backed up tub and toilet. Tried everything to fix it ourselves. Finally I got the name and phone number of the preferred plumber to our community.
It took a while and I was prepared for it to be bad. But Mark came out at about 11:30 AM and left around 4 PM. He had to completely cut out all the piped from under our sink snake the lines to to main system and it still wouldn’t clear. Well after years of former owners dumping grease down the drains it ended up to he had to Jet scrub all of our plumbing lines.
Mark explained everything and did an amazing job with excellent customer service.

I hired Mr. Rooter to come out and extensively check our pipes and their condition, due to some outlandish claims of broken pipes made by Knight’s Plumbing, aka Rooter Pro.
Unlike Knight’s, this company was professional from beginning to end. They came when they said they would. They phoned me to tell me that their plumber was going to be at my house at the scheduled time, and he was !
He arrived promptly, and promptly went to work, explaining as he went everything he was doing.
He showed me that I had NO damage, as had been claimed by the crooks at Knight’s Plumbing. He went over some minor problems, but assured me there would be no big rush as the repairs were not critical in nature.
I wish all companies were as professional as this one, and their Plumber, Mr. Josh Thompson, is absolutely wonderful, and they are lucky to have him! Thanks again Mr. Rooter !

They charged $ 300 to unclog a kitchen sink. This company is not professional and too expensive. The young man who did the work dumped the dirty sink water and garbage in my neighbors front yard. This experience and price was terrible!

Excellent customer service and quality work.
We had Mr Rooter out to replace the main sewer line from our house to the street. After having a terrible experience with another plumbing company, Mr. Rooter restored our faith in plumbers.
They showed up on time, every time. Always took the time to explain things, and did a great quality job. Given the nature of the work, we had at least 10 different people over from the company over the course of a week. You can clearly tell that Mr. Rooter takes customer service and professionalism seriously. Everyone of the employees we met left a great impression and did a great job.
I’ll never use another plumber again.

This company charges more than 400.00 more than other reputable plumbers in the area to replace a water heater. However, if you think you can’t wait and can afford the cost, then go ahead and have Mr Rooter do the work. They responded quickly and were professional. The young man who did the work, Manuel, was super courteous and very dedicated to doing things the way they should be done. I couldn’t have had a better person doing the work. I wasn’t so pleased with his boss who said that other plumbers either didn’t do the job to code or didn’t have the inspector out to check the work. I am afraid I don’t believe that!

My husband’s emphatic statement after 23 years of plumbing disasters in an old home, «I’ve finally found my plumber!» He was prompt, patient, and willing to do anything he could to find a positive result for us. Additionally, he explained every step to us, answered all of our ‘many’ questions, and assured that all areas were cleaned up when he finished. You’re awesome Mr. Celestine!

I had a great experiance with this company. I had been dealing with a back up sewer line for a few days with another plumbing comany. They dug up my yard, replaced pipes and left me without a bathroom for almost three whole days.
Then I finally decided to call Mr. Rooter. The plumber that responded was awesome. He put a camera down the sewer line and found a clean out lid in the pipe. The lid perfectly closed off the pipe and was causing the sewage to back up. With the help of the Public Works department and Mr. Rooter’s camera they were able to finally free the clean out lid. That was over two months ago and I haven’t had a problem since. I meant to write this review much earlier, but just didn’t get around to it.
But they definately left a lasting impression.
I can’t tell you how much of a relief it was to finally have a working bathroom. Thanks to Bob at Mr. Rooter.
