History

Established in 2012.

Lighthouse Learning Center’s first and primary concern is that every child experiences success and develops positive self-​esteem. We believe in providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the individuals needs of a child. We have incorporated into our curriculum a variety of experiences that motivate and stimulate each child to become active, life-​long learners. We hope to foster in each child the sense of joy and wonder that is an essential part of their early childhood years. We strive to provide a caring and nurturing environment in which all children can feel capable and loved.

Meet the Business Owner

Jessica L.

Business Owner

Ms. Jessica has a degree in Early Childhood Education. She graduated top of her class in 2001 and was on the Dean’s honor roll for three consecutive years. She was featured in the Tracy Press «In the Spotlight» in 2002 regarding quality childcare. She has over 13 years teaching experience at quality schools, one of which was accredited. During her 10 years tenure at one school it was awarded Diablo Magazine’s Best of the East Bay and Bay Area Parent Magazine’s Best of the Best for more than a half dozen time over many years. She is CPR, First-​Aid, and Health & Safety Certified by the American Red Cross. She is fluent in Spanish and speaks some Chinese. More importantly, she is enthusiastic and enjoys her work with children.

All Teachers exceed the academic qualifications required by California licensing regulations. In addition, two of our staffs are CPR, First-​Aid, and Health & Safety Certified by the American Red Cross.
