History
Established in 1989.
In 1985 I watched my dog get hit by a car. Heartbroken, it was at that moment I decided I would never have an untrained dog again. Several months latter I went to see a dog trainer in regards to buying a Malamute. In those days I did not know you could just look in the paper and buy a dog. When I met the trainer and watched the training I was bit by the bug! I knew this is what I wanted to do with my life. I quit my job, and got a new job working at a dog kennel as a kennel worker. I worked up through the ranks until I was a Kennel manager and an assistant trainer under a well known hunting dog trainer. From there I went to the only federally accredited school in the country for dog trainers at the time. Upon graduating I returned to California and started K9 Development. In 1997 I met my wife Amy and she too was bitten by the training bug. Dog training has been a blessed journey and together we are continuing to grow today!
