Established in 2011.

Junk Geni was founded in 2011 after my current job in IT was dissolved. The economy at that time wasn’t friendly to the Information Technology field so needing to provide for the family Junk Geni was formed.

Junk Geni is currently moving forward and has plans to grow and diversify in the future.

I started Junk Geni almost 4 years ago due to a bad market in the Information Technology market. Although it appears that market is recovering I still enjoy what I am doing. Building and owning Junk Geni has had it’s ups and downs but it has been a rewarding adventure.

I am the father of two wonderful girls and would love to hand them a successful business when they are of age to run it. So it is my goal to build a business that they will be proud to be part of when they get older.

For this very reason is why the Junk Geni has been built on good customer relations and as long as I am in charge of the Junk Geni it will be based on great customer relation. I feel that the customer isn’t just a body with a check book but an individual with an issue that needs to be resolved. It is my intention to deal with every customers concern as it is a new and different issue, I hold myself to a standard that Junk Geni treat each person as an individual and not a job.

My new couch was ready for delivery so I was looking for someone to pick up my old couch and was lucky to find junk geni on Unilocal.Decided to give them a try based on the excellent reviews and was very glad that I did. Will is a great guy to deal with and very courteous and professional. He came on time and the price was excellent! I will definitely contact him again whenever I need something large removed.

Will ROCKS it… I called today, he promised to here by 4. got here by 345pm, took my junk by himself. in and out in 20 mins. and his rates are amazing. if you ever need help with clearing or misc. junk, if he can manage it. he’ll do it for you. 10 stars.

After reading other reviews for other junk removal/​hauling services in this area, I chose to go with Will based on his great reviews. He certainly did not disappoint and I would definitely call him again if I needed to! I called to ask if he could help out with an odd job (making a box truck safe for transport to the junk yard). I was able to text him pictures of what he had to deal with and he was immediately able to come up with a quote. Will and his guy came out to the house a few days later (on-​time, as scheduled) and got the job done in less time that I had expected. They cleaned up and was able to tow away the rest of the stuff that I didn’t need. Thanks Will!

This is the third occasion that we have used Will’s services and couldn’t be more pleased. Will is on time, efficient and reasonably priced. What a great service! I am not physically able to remove the large pieces of old furniture we wanted to dispose of, but the Junk Geni arrived and he made our old stuff disappear in no time. I highly recommend Will the Junk Geni if you, too, have junk or debris that needs to go «Poof!»

Junk Geni (Will) did a great job demolishing our kitchen in preparation for new cabinets and countertop.
He took extra care to prevent damaging the tile floor and removed the cabinets very cleanly. The cabinets were nailed in requiring crowbar work but his thoughtful planning prevented any damage to the walls. Important too is the cost he did this at a very reasonable price.
We had a lot of extra stuff in the garage to remove and he did that too at a very fair price.
He is very professional and we are very satisfied with his work!

We had a bunch of junk piled up from moving into a new house. Will came out when it was most convenient for us (a Saturday), he arrived on time, and he cleaned it all up quickly. He provided an estimate over the phone that was a very reasonable price in my opinion. Well worth it to have all that junk gone.

Will was able to come on Memorial Day, right when we needed him. He had given me an estimate based on pictures that I sent and my (inaccurate) description of what we needed done. He came in LOWER than our estimate. They hauled a bit of everything away– a ton of junk, furniture, magazines, a hot water heater, cardboard… It was great! I won’t hesitate to use him again! Will came out on a holiday weekend and shifted a ton of Junk from my yard. I had an old shed/​Kids playhouse, water heater, And piles of assorted Junk, would have taken me about 10 trips to the Dump in an SUV.

Thank you Junk Geni for removing my 8 person, 800 gallon hot tub. Will was very professional– arriving on time, getting right to work, and cleaning up the work area. What he did in a few hours would have taken us days. Got an over the phone quote which was reasonable and he was able to do the job right away. I tipped him an extra $ 25 for exceeding our expectations.

Will from Junk Geni was awesome. Very efficient, professional, honest and friendly! He recently removed and hauled away our old hot tub. He had given me an initial quote which he estimated from pictures I had text him, he said he could confirm more accurate quote upon arrival and reviewing the actual conditions. He ended up giving a price range and actually ended up giving me the lower price once he completed the job because he said it was much easier than he anticipated. We appreciated this very much as he didn’t have to do that. Will was also nice enough to take a few extra items we had laying around for a bit extra. We will definitely be calling Will from junk Geni in the future! We are planning som remodels and will use Will to help is with removal of our junk then!

Junk Geni is the best!!! Very professional and funny. Will is very honest and hardworking. He did a great job of providing me a quote without seeing the items I had to have hauled away. He arrived the next day and saw the huge items I needed taken away. I did a bad job of describing the size of the items and they weighed more than he thought. He had to increase the price but IT WAS MY FAULT! we settled on a new price and he went to work on smashing up the items so they fit in his truck. The whole time we laughed and joked and had a great time. Will is a funny and nice guy.
I wish I had more work for him. I’d love to support a hard-​working, self-​employed great guy. If you need ANYTHING hauled away, call Junk Geni. Help him buy a new truck. Ol’ Betsy ain’t what she used to be. haha.
