Dr. Atwal and the Dental Hygienists he employs are awesome. I have been going to Comfort Dental for 8+ years (back when they where still at Grant Line). His team takes the time to explain all procedures and if there is an immediate need or can wait for a future visit. They where very patient with my toddler on her first dentist visit.
in 2015 when we asked about insurance claims is when my experience soured. up until then I never had any issues. we received a bill from Comfort Dental stating that our insurance denied my toddler’s claim. after some investigation on my end I found out that there where a lot more than 2 claims filed for my child in 2015, 4 to be exact. when I asked about it Comfort Dental gave me dates but when I asked why my child needed 4 visits (1 x-​ray & 4 cleanings) in a year they could not give me an answer. The 2 records they did provide me stated that my child’s teeth are healthy. WHY would a healthy child need to see the dentist 4 times in 1 year? The lady at the front desk could not give any answer. I guess one of my family never got billed for their visit while my child who has yet to lose his baby teeth has such bad hygiene she needed to visit the dentist 4 times in 1 year. By the way my wife did not have one claim filed in her name for all of 2015 with my insurance prior to talking to the billing staff, we know where the billing error came from, to bad your billing staff is too proud to admit their mistake.
Sorry to say that because of this billing issue Comfort Dental has lost our family’s business.
My apologies Dr. Atwal but $ 500 out of pocket and not having your staff admit their mistake is not acceptable.

You only have one set of teeth, go to a dentist that you trust. There are so many dentists to choose from, Dr. P in Mountain House is amazing.

Dr. Atwel and his staff are top notch. Having just moved to the area I was nervous about finding a dentist who was able to help me with my unique set of oral complications. I am delighted to have found Dr. Atwel. His staff made me feel at ease both on the phone and in a the office. But it is really Dr. Atwel who who deserves the highest praise for my 5 star rating. He removed a tooth that had broken off at the gum with absolutely no pain or discomfort. Even the injections were completely painless. I have a history of dry socket but this time the extraction site healed completely and without incident. He removed cleaned and repaired my upper implanted teeth, added a tooth to my lower implant partial, and all of it without igniting my general fear of dentists. I am completely at ease with this dentist.

We just moved to Tracy less than a year ago. My 17 year old daughter had an emergency dental issue. I called in the morning and they were able to get her in within an hour. Now my daughter is very, very afraid of dentists. When I got home I asked her how it went and she said it was the best experience with a dentist she ever had. She said the staff was so friendly and caring and they made her feel at ease. She said the office was very modern and clean. The actual word she used was luxurious. I will be scheduling my appointment for my regular checkup with Comfort Dental.

Everyone at Comfort dental is a professional and you can tell that they like to be there. I live out of town and have a busy schedule, so I appreciate the fact that the dental office offers such a flexible schedule. On Tuesday’s they are actually open until 7:00 pm. This is great for me.
I especially want to note my appreciated to the attention given to me by Jeri. I spoke with her regarding my concerns with my son’s front teeth and possible braces versus other appliances. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to.

Best dentist in town! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable! Great hours! Not one complaint!

Worst experience ever with a dentist. Had him do a root canal then one month later
The crown he put on fell off, I went back there and he said I needed a root canal again. I didn’t, t do it and he took the gold crown That fell off and kept it, refused to
Return it.
Went too another dentist they said tooth wasn’t, t worth saving so had it removed.
Comfort dental care is a total RIPOFF!!!

I have been to many, many dental practices along my life wirhin the US and abroad, and Dr. Atwal’s facility is, to my judgement, the finest and more professional practice i have ever been to. My wife, young son (Dr Atwal has been his ONLY dentist) and sister, besides myself, have been treated by the very qualified and knowledgeable team that is second to none in quality, pricing, hygiene and the most imprtant part: QUALITY KNOWLEDGE. I drive hauling my family with me, about 40 miles one way to be treated by the best, and I don’t mind it at all, neither my family

My entire family has been going to Comfort Dental Care for close to 4 years. Recently I had my wisdom teeth extracted and I was incredibly nervous. The morning I had it done the doctor was running a little late, but the dental hygienist was so incredibly attentive and sweet. She even brought me a blanket and pillow to get comfy while I caught up on some Real Housewives episodes in the room. When the doctor did get there he talked to me the entire time, unfortunately I did not get put under for the procedure. He let me know exactly what he was doing and at the end I was amazed at how fast and easy it was.
All of the staff is incredibly kind and try to make the experience as comfortable as possible. The new office is amazing, it’s extremely well decorated and you can tell everyone in the office genuinely gets along and are proud of their new place.

I finally made it to Comfort Dental Care yesterday to have my own teeth checked. This was my first visit to their new location.
Finding the new place was a snap. Parking was plentiful, and their new digs are off the frickin’ hook. Walking in, I was taken back by the cozy fire and the relaxing KBLX tunes piping in via the Bose speakers.
After filing out some paperwork, I was called in for x-​rays and my hygienist appointment, which by the was painless.
After my appointment today, I’m an even bigger fan of the folks of Comfort Dental Care.

I hate going to the Dentist Office!!! But several years ago, I telephoned 1 – 800 Dentist and was referred over to the Comfort Dental Care Office in Tracy, CA. I have to admit, this is the only place where I didn’t mind going to. The Staff are the friendliest and caring people I ever met. The Dentist Dr. Atwal and assistants are very gentle and they really care for people like myself who freak out at the sound of the suction piece. I recently left Tracy and moved to Vacaville, CA and I know for sure that I’ll never find another Dental Office like Comfort Dental Care!
