History

Established in 1947.

Dr. Eli M. Shulman began building our dental practice in 1947 with a small office in the Parkville area of Baltimore.

His philosophy was to develop long-​term relationships with his patients, while providing high-​quality dental health care and patient service. It was not long before he had established a solid, growing practice.

He moved the practice to the present Towson location in 1977 and his son, Dr. Mark Shulman, joined him there the same year. They continued to practice together for the next 20 years until Dr. Eli retired in 1997.

Business Owner

Dr. Mark Shulman was born and raised in Baltimore. He received his high school degree from City College before attending the University of Maryland, College Park, where he received a BS in Psychology in 1971. He earned his DDS from the University of Maryland in 1975.

Dr. Shulman served two years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps from 1975 – 77. After completion of his military service he joined his father Dr. Eli Shulman in private practice at our current location.

Dr. Shulman is a member of the American Dental Association, The Maryland State Dental Association, The Baltimore County Dental Association, Maryland Sleep Society and The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Shulman is an active member of the Towson Chamber of Commerce where he currently holds a position on the Board of Directors. His volunteer service to the Chamber keeps him involved in the business and social community of the Towson area.

Dr. Shulman has been married for 39 years and has two sons and two grandson.
