On Friday we dropped off dry cleaning for next day service. Our ticket said the items would be available on Saturday after 4:30PM. We went at 5PM and were told to come back in 30 minutes. We came back at 5:30 with a car full of people and dinner reservations. Now there were two other customers there waiting for clothes. The owner’s wife actually put me on the phone with the driver(???) who told me he was 15 minutes away. So even if he was truly 15 minutes away, they still need to unload and organize all of the clothes. We could not wait. The owner’s wife told me that Mr. Bo, the owner, would call me and that someone would be there at 8:30PM to give us our clothes. We came back for the 3rd time just before 8:30 and I called Mr. Bo who told me that he wished I would have called him sooner(???). He asked me to meet him at 11AM the following morning. He was there when we arrived for the 4th time at 11AM the following morning. After some discussion, he knocked $ 10 off our $ 25 dry cleaning bill and we got the distinct impression that he wanted us to feel bad for him because he had to come in from Hanover. We’ve used them a bunch in the past without incident, but clearly they are not reliable. Also, the clothes had been shipped out to Nifty’s on Greenmount.
