Highland Manor Inn & Conference Center

Extremely dated décor. Quite enough (I guess) but also borders on the dull. Amenities are minimal with horrible cable, very old smaller TVs. The worst would be its ridiculous wireless services. Speeds that are way too slow to do more than check e-​mail. (I would give 2 ½ stars but won’t let me.)

Good rates and convenient to «The Cove». Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Rooms do need upgrades but are still comfortable and area is quiet. Microwave and mini fridge in room but no coffee pot. They have a continental breakfast each morning. Will continue to stay here for short periods when in the area and think it will just get better since they have started renovations on some of the rooms.

Enjoyed a few nights here for a family reunion.
There is a large conference room for rental — slightly dated, but large and very nice — has kitchenette as well. Small, mom-​pop style motel, but our king sized room was very nice with balcony. Décor is slightly dated, but clean and accommodating. Grounds were nicely cared for — flowers, gazebos, small pool, but nice. Continental breakfast with muffins, danish, breads, cereals, coffee/​tea, juice, hard boiled eggs, etc in the lobby — sitting space was limited, but fairly good choices for continental (better than most other motels). Free wifi with stay — get pass code from office — worked well in rooms. A good choice — would stay again — priced well and only 2 miles from Smoky Mountain National Park.
