Stopped in for the first time tonight. Ordered a few slices and gnocchi. They made the slices while we waited for the gnocchi and were very friendly and quick to help us. The cheese pizza was great but the crushed tomato, olive oil, grated cheese and garlic slice was unreal. Gnocchi parm was delicious and the portions were generous.

Hands down best pizza in town and around town! I have been going to Dominick’s for years and their pizza is always amazing.

Who says New York has the best pizza? I beg to differ. In north jersey we are privileged to be the home of the best pizza joints. Dominick’s will always be #1 in my heart and stomach. What makes Dominick’s so special? Well, there’s a list of reasons. The ingredients are fresh, the crust is thin, the sauce is on point, and when you order a pie for take out you never have to worry about it getting any sort of soggy. Because to me there’s nothing worse than a slice of soggy, sweaty pizza, which I have sadly experienced in other pizza spots in north jersey. So yeah, Dominick’s, thanks for being my go-to pizza spot for years. And when people try to talk to me about a new or different pizza place I always say, «are you sure you know what good pizza is? Have you tried Dominick’s on union blvd in totowa?»

Returning to my home state after years away and craving good pizza after years of eating poor imitations and found Dominic’s…the best pizza ever had. The crust, the sauce and all the toppings make for incredible eating

Amazing pizza — the best are reg slices, margarita & Sicilian. One of best antipast & meatball sandwiches I ever had. The staff is so friendly. No delivery & cash only. Closed Sunday & Monday :(

My family and I have been coming here for years. I love this place. The tomato garlic square slice is amazing. Veggie square is also fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming. Only downside is its cash only!

The vegetable Sicilian pie is to die for. I am vegan so I get it without cheese. It is so flavorful and fresh. I literally just ate(4) slices. I’ve never eaten(4) slices of pizza! The place is a small pick up and cash only restaurant.

I only had a piece of pizza, but after trying it. I can see why the dining room is SRO. Delicious!

Stopped in to get a veggie Sicilian slice. They had one left which was the corner(my favorite). When they told to come up to the counter for the slice it was already cut into very small pieces. I asked why they would do that and was told, ‘so you could eat it easier’. What am I, 2? Do I need you to feed me as well? Don’t touch people’s food.

Square tomato & garlic pie… Absolutely divine; The crust is perfection. Hands down BEST pizza I have ever had in my entire life. I dream about these pies(in between visits). Veggie slices also awesome … Spinach pockets — delicious! Order plain ordinary pizza here if you’re dumb or stupid… It’s ALL about the square pies /slices. Family owned and operated since the 1970’s… Thank you Dominick. Note: Cash only business; no credit cards.

Dominick’s has the best pizza. Good regular cheese pie. The best I’ve had around Totowa. Also, get a house salad with your pizza and it’s the perfect meal with some olives and provolone cheese. 4 stars because It sucks that they only take cash because I never have cash which Is a deterrent when picking a place to eat really quick. Also they don’t deliver and when you go there it is hard to find parking most times of day.

Seriously? There’s people that don’t like Dominic’s? Wow ! That place is awesome ! Family owned, family runs it and cooks everything. Fathers, sons, uncles … I remember seeing couple of older ladies making meatballs in the back. Food is amazing, so is the family. Definitely my favorite ! Hopefully you’re lucky to get a slice of grandmas pie, yummm. Specials are normally gone by 5 pm. Chicken cache-tore is deeeelish ! So is chicken Parmesan I love you Dominick ! And after dinner or lunch go down the hill to the Sanremo coffee shop. Another little gem in Totowa. Great coffee and you can have some great traditional Italian dessert. Besides chatting with Ralph or Joe is a treat all by it self.

Why anyone goes here when Casa Mia is across the street is beyond me. Tried Dominick’s pizza and almost called them to ask if I should have ordered flavor with my pizza. Tasteless. I think I saw a basil leaf in the sauce, I must have gotten lucky and got the one herb used in making the bland sauce. People rave about the chicken parm so I also tried that. Again, absolutely unremarkable. Chopped chicken cutlet smothered in watery, bland sauce. Tried them twice, never again. If you want flavor, seasoning, and herbs in your food, go to Casa Mia.

Pizza is very good here. However, there is a huge sanitation problem with at least 1 of the staff. Last time I went to dominic’s, one customer was eating his pizza right out of a paper pizza box. At the end, he returned the pizza box to the staff, and the staff didn’t think twice to return a USED pizza box straight to the CLEAN stack in the back. I feel bad for whoever gets that pizza box for his order. food is really good. but please don’t reuse boxes.

The margherita pie is fantastic. The tomato garlic pie is also terrific. For the tomato garlic I go for the square pie, but it’s solid round also. The margherita is better as a round pie. The chicken parm is another standout. I would say there is a ceiling on how good a chicken parm can be and this place is right on that ceiling. I haven’t tried anything else here, but based just on the pizza this place gets 5. Best pizza in NJ. You know this place is serious because they’re closed Sunday and Monday AND they don’t deliver. You have to have some balls to have a non-delivery pizza place that is closed on Sunday. For this place it doesn’t seem to matter, still paying the bills.
