History
Established in 1933.
Nestled on seven acres of property, The Barnyard and Carriage House creates the perfect country setting for all occasions. Originally a working dairy farm in the early 1800’s, it was converted into a local post and named The Barnyard in 1933. Throughout the years the building was slowly renovated into the restaurant that is known today.
The Barnyard offers its guests a warm and inviting atmosphere. A crackling fireplace welcomes you during the cold winter months. In warmer weather guests can enjoy their dining experience outside on the patio in a peaceful park-like setting. The Barnyard has been a local landmark for 75 years and is one of the oldest dining establishments in the area.
The Carriage House was built in 2004 and was custom designed to match the rustic characteristics of the orginal restaurant. From the custom designed bar to the 30-foot ceilings with exposed trusses, one can just imagine how this warm country setting is perfect for any special occasion.
