Walt was referred to me by a friend for the myriad of remodeling and repair projects we found ourselves embroiled in this winter. The man is the absolute best contractor in town — he’s a one man factory, reliable, reasonable, meticulous and capable of virtually everything you need done for any building or remodeling jobs.
The fact that he works by himself is rather unique, in my experience with contractors (though he will bring in extra help for BIG jobs). It does put a bit more time on the project’s conclusion, understandably, but you get the highest degree of reliability, competence, skill and professionalism that is possible. There’s no crew of random guys trudging through your house, no casual disregard for your property or complacency in the approach to your project. Every job is completed above and beyond the call of duty, with the utmost attention to detail and effort to see it done properly.
Walt is the only contractor I’ve heard of who will also give you an itemized list of everything involved in the project, from total labor involved, to at-​cost building supplies down to the lowliest screw and nail. The transparency involved in his record keeping allows for the most efficient anticipation of costs, and helps you keep within your project budget to the proverbial ‘T’.
