History
Established in 1988.
Dr. Crandall was interviewed for an article in Parade Magazine in 1986 entitled «The Infection that Women Don’t Talk About.» That article stimulated many phone calls from Candida patients desperate for accurate scientific information on how to treat and prevent yeast infections. When Dr. Crandall left her research faculty position at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, in 1988, she founded Yeast Consulting Services, and began writing patient educational materials about candidiasis.

Business Owner
Dr. Marjorie Crandall is a Ph.D. microbiologist specializing in yeast infections. She carried out laboratory research on yeasts for 31 years, and taught microbiology at Indiana University, Brooklyn College, University of Kentucky, and UCLA. She has published 41 papers, presented 44 invited lectures, given 33 media interviews, and presented expert testimony at 3 court hearings. In 1988, she established Yeast Consulting Services to help patients overcome chronic candidiasis.
