I have tried calling many times. It’s Wednesday afternoon, and Nobody is picking up the phone… Has this been the case for anybody else?

Ask for Jon (Koji)… gives great haircuts and knows all the latest styles… Been following him around from salon to salon… Great personality and he listens to your requests and cuts your hair the way you want it.

I can say that KOJI (aka Jonathan) is my personal Salonist! I cannot go to anyone else! My Hubby also goes to him for a haircut all the time. HAHAHA
He’s super skillful with the scissors and he will ask you a lot of questions before getting the business done.
First time I was there, he dyed my hair red and applied Keratin Straightening — which lasted about 2 – 3 months. The red was starting to fade after a while so I went again for another appointment — this time, I got highlights in my hair (it was for a convention LOL) and dyed red over it so it looked like i had streaks of baby pink which was AWESOME!
After a couple of months, I got sick of my red hair, as it started to fade again, and wanted a drastic change. I wanted my hair TEAL! (I know, pretty random). To get this colour, he bleached my hair until it turned into a light orange color, then applied the teal color over it. OMG it was cool! I even got a Hime-​cut hairstyle and it was perfect! He also gave me some helpful tips on how to take care of bleached hair as it was my first time doing it — I have fine hair but with this advice, it still looks fine!
After writing this, I look at my hair and realize I need a retouch. …Time to go back to Koji LMAO

Ask for jonathan aka koji! Super cool dude and always does a great job! If you want a relaxing and fresh cut, jonathan is definitely your man

Ask for GiGi! She is really good with people who have curly/​crazy hair. like I have! Usually when I go to salons to get my hair cut and styled, the hair dresser has no idea what to do with my lion mane but GiGi did! She was very patient blow drying my hair and added her own flare when styling. I loved it! My hair is much more manageable now and it looks so healthy!

Ask for Shanni!!! She’s the best with color, highlights anything you want!!! My girl hooks me up every time! I fly down from Seattle, just to have her hook up my hair! I don’t have to do anything to my hair after she’s done. It keeps its style and body when it grows out! She has amazing customer service, asks lots of questions just to find out with her perfect style!

Yes, same crew from Mrs. Five and Dime Salon, way better location. I followed Shanni here, who is great with cutting, coloring, and styling thick, long Asian hair. Her prices are fair too. However, they have a diverse group of talented stylists there and can provide different types of services for all ages. I hope they post photos of their work here soon, you will be impressed! Same hair stylist crew as Mrs. Five and Dime Salon, but with new name — Vanity Styles — and a better location near Old Torrance — Chase bank is a block away with lots of yummy eateries nearby unlike the old location in R. Beach. Plenty of non-​metered street parking, too.
Followed hair stylist, Shanni Izumoto here for my haircut and ammonia-​free color. She always does a great job at a reasonable price.
