Love this place! Great food and sooo many different beers! I bring my daughters here with my husband to watch the fights or football! Kid friendly is the best! The chimmys and the tortilla soup is the bomb! Would give 5 stars but they don’t serve hard alcohol!

I appreciate the acknowledgement of being friendly by a past guest. I do not, however, appreciate the immature and inaccurate description of kyle’s opinion of this establishment. With that being said, Kyle was asked not to return to tortilla cantina for drunk and rude conduct. It was only then that she used Unilocal to strike back and act like a child. It is very disheartening that anyone can make rude and inaccurate opinions of any local business and potentially create that business to suffer. Rick, the owner of cantina tortilla, is incredibly generous to local charities, schools, events etc. He is very active in his establishment and does his best to please his customers. Every business has things they can improve on, we acknowledge that and welcome genuine concerns and comments. Unfortunately, this is unjustified and simply ridiculous.

I’ve been coming to the Cantina for several years now, and in fact I’m here at least once a week. What keeps me coming Back? Well that would be a long list, so let me give you my top 10: 1. A great selection of craft beers, which is constantly changing. 2. The owner, Rick, a great guy whom is always willing to try to get the beers you want. 3. Great prices for craft beer. 4. It’s a sports bar, and someone will always try to get your game on one of the many TVs. 5. Happy hour 7 days a week, 3−6pm. 6. When happy hour is over there is almost always some other drink special. 7. If you are a regular and paying attention there are a lot deals including free meals. 8. Mexican food, I know everybody has their favorites, but food here is good. 9. UFC fights and if you call ahead they’ll reserve you a spot. 10. The atmosphere is friendly, and there is almost always somebody to chat with. Come for the great selection of craft beer, stay for a meal or a game

I stumbled into this place during the Torrance Street Antiques Faire on a hot Sunday afternoon, thinking maybe I’d get an iced tea(nasty) or a beer. Stacy was great and made me feel very welcome as I was new to the area. Based on that encounter, I came back again and made some friends. That kept me coming back although the service was not up to par by any stretch of the imagination. The gals were mostly very nice, but the service was slow as molasses on a winter morning. The food was nothing to write home about and not authentic Mexican. Still, I had made friends here and came back frequently to hang out with them. The prices on beer have gone up by a whole dollar since the holidays. A lot of the people in the craft beer community are boycotting this place. There is a new restaurant opening just down the street. We all hope it will have craft beer and great food. Anyway, we will all be going to better places than this rude bar and hope that you will, too.

I love love love the chicken or carnitas nachos! The tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, and beans are all homemade and the ingredients taste super fresh. The beer selection always changes and there are new interesting and yummy brews all the time. The bartenders are very friendly and attentive. The owner always takes a sec to say hi. I love to watch UFC fights here, it’s usually a great crowd.

I have been coming here for 2 +years and the selection & staff are great. Tortilla Cantina has over 30+ rotating beers. I am an IPA man and they always have a great selection. They have a tap takeover w host brewery glass giveaways for every Monday Night Football during the regular season. This is a great place to watch the UFC. There is a $ 5 fee to get in. They have over 10 tv’s and a projection screen, so there is always a great view of the show. Dodgers, Usc, Lakers and the Bruins(boo!) are shown here too. This is one of the only places in «Old Torrance» to watch every game the Dodgers play. The Chile Verde is incredible too! Enjoy!

Love this place! Great location, best place to watch a UFC fight, boxing, football, baseball game, or any sports event! There are SO many perfectly placed TV’s that you never have to sit awkwardly to get a perfect view. Good food and great beer selection. Their«Margarita Quesadilla» is to die for! Nicole was our server and was SO attentive, A+ for service fooooooor sure! Rick the owner is awesome! He set up a reservation for our group to enjoy Monday night football, and have a nice little bday celebration for my brother-in-law. Everyone had an awesome time. Some nights they have«left hand pint night» you actually get to keep a souvenir glass with the left hand logo on it. Thanks again to everyone at Tortilla Cantina for making last night another wonderful memorable one!

**This is a Bar/Beer Review Only** Great beer selection, fun little bar, good place to watch the games at or the fights. The servers here are really helpful and quick to make sure that I need another beer. Food could be better though.

The Harvest Salad reads«spring mix lettuce» and«feta cheese», but they served romaine and shredded cheddar tonight. If they had said that they were having to substitute ingredients and asked if that would be okay or if I’d like to order something else, I’d understand. But to have employees who care so little about what the customer is experiencing shows poor management and training. It gets 2 stars because the Mahi Mahi on the salad was good. But for a $ 15 salad, everything should be at least as described on the menu. Service was also slow.

the food is just okay. not great. margaritas are horrible, sangria is meh. but beer selection is good. very small staff so they can’t handle large orders and the kitchen can only process one thing at a time. i can udnerstand the homeliness of service in a smaller place, but this place is large and should be able to handle a few groups at a time. and for a mexican restaurant, they ran out of guacamole in the afternoon. really? i would rather say, the kitchen’s backed up and send someone to go buy some avocados etc because i mean, no guac at a mexican joint is kind of a headscratcher.

Too bad Unilocal does not give an option for ZERO stars, because that’s what this place deserves for all aspects of their establishment. In short, the food is very bland and service is absolutely horrific. Additionally, we were overcharged and when asked about the line items on the bill, the server tried to justify it. Wow… There’s no need to explain the specifics. I paid the bill, left a normal tip and will never return. Period. All in all, they’re going to lose business in the long run and justifiably so. I see a lot of Unilocal reviews where users say, «I saw the bad reviews on ‘X’, but I gave it a chance anyway.» Seriously, pass on Tortilla Cantina and give business to an establishment that deserves it. Probably the worst dining experience we’ve had in a long time.

Love this place but they are chincy(sp?) with the amount of meat they give you in the chili verde 3 small chunks of pork for $ 15! Love it but won’t order it again I’m being ripped off! I do love this place but come on guys

Well it is 12:00pm on a sunny Sunday afternoon… After walking up and down the streets of the Antique Fair. Our friends decided to stop by and have ourselves a brew. We walk into Tortilla Cantina, and find ourselves a table. Minutes go by and the waitress hands us some menus. She returns and asks for our ID, one person did not have her id on her. We are all over the age 30 and don’t exactly look like kids. The waitress did not use her discretion and rather replied with«sorry guys» and with a grin. Out of the 5 group of friends that were sitting only 2 ordered beers. She asks one person for the type of beer that he would like, he replies«I’ll have a modelo» the waitress«Amie. D» replies«I’m sorry but we do not have that beer» he then replies«Alright, Pacifico» the waitress responds«Alright, we have that» she asks the rest of us for our orders, due to the mishandling and poor discretion this waitress used. We kindly denied. To add insult to injury she returns with 1 wrong beer, a Corona which was clearly not ordered at the time of the orders were placed. Our friend kindly informs Waitress Amie D, that he ordered«Pacifico» the beer that she stated they had! When she is notified of her mistake, she replies with«Well, I thought you said«corona !? «Pacifico? That’s the beer we don’t have!» We all looked at each other in great confusion knowing the fact that she stated that«Tortilla Cantina» did carry Pacifico. Amie D, then insinuated that he take the beer. She then asked the rest of us if we wanted anything else, knowing that her poor waitress skills reflect greatly on her performance, we replied no. We waited for the 2 to finish their beer and agreed we would go drink at «The Red Car» Down the street on sartori. In conclusion we were all left with a bad taste, the service sucked and the waitress was in a rush and had a bit of an attitude. Don’t go here!

Delicious! We came here for lunch and I was really surprised with how delicious and fresh the food tasted. I had the chicken burrito and was happy to find that my chicken was juicy and fresh. The complementary chips were amazing and flaky. Yum! Were were here during work hours so we didn’t get any drinks but I imagine this place is great for drinks since it’s a cantina. Highly recommended!

I have never been here before, but decided to come on a really busy night where everyone was in the mood for happy hour eats & drinks. First of all, the food here didn’t stand out in any way, but they do have quite an amazing selection of craft brews for a cantina. The full menu is here: I was surprised at the selection of beers and during HH, a pint is $ 4 and a schooner is $ 5. I think you have to pay if you want chips and salsa here. The things that bothered me was the service. There was a 20 – 30 min time period where there were zero servers in sight on the floor. This is annoying any time you eat out, but it is even more annoying during HH when you want to get your order in before the specials are over(4 – 7 pm). Food also took a very long time to come out. It was prob 10 minutes between each dish we ordered. Also, I ordered dessert and it never came, but our server was aware enough to take it off our bill. I would come here if I wanted a drink and I would sit right at the bar instead of at a table. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. Note the the men’s restroom is on the far left side of the restaurant while the women’s on on the far right. I’m letting you know, so you don’t walk across the whole place like I did, lol.
