Time Warner Cable

This review is for the entire company… Not this location.
I have been a customer for over 4 years. Time Warner canceled my services because my Roomate called to get her own services. They told her my services would need to be cancelled in Oder for her to start her own services. So they CANCELLED my services without my consent or even a phone call!!! When I asked them why they did that they did not have an answer. I was on the phone with several reps for over an hour trying to figure out how this could happen. The end result is that my services were cancelled and her brand new service stayed on. I will NEVER in my life use time Warner. NEVER

Not a huge fan of Time Warner, but the store was packed when we walked in and the staff did an incredible job of getting us in and out of there in a timely manner.

Went there the other day and was helped by Brittney (BD3) She has great customer service skills. We we in and out within 5 minutes. I hope Time Warner will acknowledge her doing a fantastic job.
Companies today are always ready to tell you about a complaint, but not about a job well done.

This place is ridiculous. The line was out the door. Service was slow and there was no greeting. The hours are terrible. They close early and are closed on Sundays. You’d think a place that provides service like this should be open 7 days a week with later hours. I left immediately after watching a lady fuss at the counter. On to the next one…

Count me in too to join the line that says, «TWC totally sucks!» We’ve been customers for almost 20 years going all the way back to their Comcast days. We’ve had ongoing, seemingly unrepairable, problems for approx. 6 straight months now. We’ve reached our limit and we will be canceling very soon to sign up with Direct TV.
For 6 months now, our picture will breakup at the most inopportune or annoying times. It can happen early morning, noon, or night! We cannot access On Demand programming all too often. They give us free movie credits, and at times, we can’t even utilize them!
Many times we will watch a movie for 1 hour+, then the picture starts to break up and we cannot see how the movie ends. We’ve called & complained many times to no avail. Service guys come out and will tell us the problem has been eliminated now. Their kind and friendly CS operators comp us with free movies. Sometimes we get cash credits off our bill. And the problem eventually continues on unabated and unrepaired!
It totally sucks to have to replace TWC. We are going to have to replace our long time ca. rr e-​mail addresses and deal with numerous other headaches in switching over and bundling with Direct/​ATT. Thanks for nothing (but headaches) TWC!!!

Dumped Time Warner after almost two decades.
Went to this store to drop off all their equipment. I was the next customer so it didn’t take long.
Got called a minute later, so I placed all my stuff on the counter. He asked about whether I’ve activated my phone with someone else and told him not until Monday. So he cancelled my cable and internet stuff and said he’s gonna leave the phone active until I get confirmation the new service provider has activated it. Otherwise, I’d lose my phone number. He went ahead and printed out my receipt and that a final bill will be sent to me.
Noticed 3 out of the 4 customers behind me were also there to return their equipment and cancel services.
The three stars was for the guy who assisted me. Overall experience with Time Warner, though?! ZERO.

I was told that the tech would call me 30 minutes before he arrived at my apartment. I got the call and immediately left work. I rushed home it normally takes about 15 minutes to get home from work. I got a call when i was about 3 minutes from home. My darn cell phone wouldnt pick up so i called the 800 number back. The CSA on the line stated that the tech had left. I asked if she could call him to return, she told me that she could not. As i pulled onto my street i could see the truck turning off the street…

Don’t walk into this shit hole under prepared because A bunch retarded Hyenas’ run this place and yes; they’ll eat you asshole first if your not ready to take these bitches to full on war!
And if you mail their crappy equipment in… expect it to mysteriously disappear (until your next billing cycle) even with a confirmed signature via priority Mail.
This is one tactic of TWC’$ standard operating procedure when it comes to price gouging.
So be ready to lawyer up or BBB the fuck out of these corporate whore’$.

Just like the fleeting rain in Los Angeles, so too is good internet connectivity all too uncommon in my area.
What was once an alright service from Time Warner has become mediocre at best in the past few years. I’d figure that was good enough… that I was getting a good enough connection to do my work. But alas, Time Warner has found a way to ruin all that.
I used to ignore all the gripe about internet providers and the perils of the monopoly they hold. I never put much thought into how these companies can afford to slip up. In spite of widespread discontent at this company, I thought I would be the exception. They proved me wrong these past two weeks.
Fortunately, I live in the big beautiful city of LA. Westwood and Koreatown have more than enough options for me as far as coffee shops with excellent internet service. I don’t mind the drive, nor the traffic. I can get my work done while getting wired with chai or lattes.
That is how I deal with Time Warner. That… And the fact that they are losing me as a customer. Is my reaction overblown? Well, when I have two finals and the MCAT to prep for in the next two weeks, and TW is not providing the internet service it promises, I have every right to tear them up a new one.

What a garbage company. Cable boxes that don’t work, price gouging, useless «outsourced» lying customer service, numerous unsolicited survey calls. I cannot stand this company. They are useless. If it was free, it would be overpriced!

The person who helped me was very courteous and explained the process in plain English. I like this new office and the staff. One point, the sign in kiosk needs to be cleaned. It was not easy signing, because the screen was dirty. Easy fix.

In general TWC sucks! Now this location, is different. I understand we are supposed to rate the location, but since this is still TWC, I will base my experience with that!
At this location, the staff is great and do their best and work very hard to make the customer happy. The manager will even help out if needed.
For five months I’ve had TWC and haven’t been happy with the service. I’ve been on and off the phone and have been to this location several times, just to fix simple issues with billing, included features, discount promises and with Internet
I have kept a list of all the staff, I’ve spoken with. It seems I have over a dozen names of field text and customer support agents.
In the first week I signed up for TWC package, I was promised a $ 50 discount for all the inconveniences, but I have yet to see the discount my paper bill.
I switched to TWC to save money, but the money saved has given me more problems than I wish to deal with.
I’m just tired of calling customer service and still having many problems!

I came in today to talk about my bill and I was met with a nice welcome and asked to digitally sign in. I didn’t have an appointment but came at a good time and I was seen in about 5 minutes. Don’t be discouraged by the reviews, it’s a convenient spot to stop by and inquire. Some of the reviewers need to catch their own attitude as well, it takes two.

I can’t believe I’m 5 starring time Warner b/​c over the phone is sooooo frustrating. However into this store was LOVELY, my remotes had gotten a little funky and I came to swap them out, I was in and out in shorter than this Unilocal is taking and they were so friendly and Sean was theeee best!!!

Lady at the front asked me what I was here for, then cut me off when I started talking by asking my name. While still sitting at her lil fake desk she yells my name And and points me where to go.
Black dude who helped me had no personality like he was awake for 4 days and didn’t want to come to work.
I started talking smack while I was waiting so I guess that’s why the little front desk girl said thanks when I walked out.
Check y’all workers before I do.

Stating the obvious, stay away from TWC, but making sure TWC’s average stays where it should, one.
Here’s my review:
On hold with Time Warner cable. After dealing with them for an hour last night. Last night, the second tech. was finally silent as I pointed out that their wireless channels are oversubscribed. For example, all 3 wireless channels he had me go to had download speeds of less than 1 ms. And yet the speed is suddenly back to «normal» after people go to bed.
Tonight, they’ve had me on the call and hold waiting for a non-​existent supervisor for 17 minutes now.
I am trying to be nice to «Ella» in India, but slowly losing to the despair.
Postscript: after 20 minutes of waiting for her, the nice supervisor lady gave me a $ 30 credit on my bill. And said she completely understands that I will need to shop around and transfer my account elsewhere.
Time Warner must be sitting on Smaug’s gold. Their degree of not giving an eff is master level.

Dealing with Time Warner over the phone is awful but at least over the phone the reps try and provide customer service; at the store, you get none. All of the people working there look unhappy and irritated when they have to deal with/​help a customer. The girl that was supposed to be greeting people at the door was straight up rolling her eyes at people for no reason. The rep that helped me remained silent during our transaction (once he knew why I was there), handed me equipment and then I was out the door. However nobody warned me that I was going to have charges appear on my account that were going to be due in a matter of 2 days; luckily I took the initiative and logged into my account later that day to see what was going on.
We only get cable for hockey season; once that’s over with we plan on cancelling again, like we did at the beginning of last summer. Their pricing system and unwanted upgrades make no sense; if we could get 1 cable and internet package with a price that doesn’t change, we would be happy Time Warner Cable customers for life, but since they don’t operate that way, we almost always become upset with this company.
For all the people that are unhappy to work there, try and be thankful that you have a job in the first place. Or better yet, fire all of the ungrateful employees and replace them with people that have been out of work for awhile that would do a much better job.

I don’t know how much good it does to write a bad review for TWC. They couldn’t make it more clear that they as a company don’t care an ounce about customer service.
The sad thing is that I had a good experience at this location today, and if that had been my only interaction with TWC, they’d get five stars! I went in to find the expected ten or so people standing around waiting because they’re out of seats for customers in the queue, but to my surprise I was out of there in ten minutes without a hassle!
The caveat is my utter confidence that once my cancellation processes, I’ll have to call TWC about all the phantom charges they’ll inevitably post to my account. Maybe they’ll surprise me with that, too, but if four years of having to choose between TWC and no Internet are any indication, I know what’s coming…

Oh TWC, I so wanted to upgrade your rating! Why do you continue to disappoint me so much?!
When I went in to return my cable box (I finally got tired of the ever changing rates!), I was plesantly surprised by the increased staffing levels. I was immediately greeted and the transaction took 5 minutes! The rep was courteous and pleasant and told me to expect the credit for my subscription in 2 – 3 days.
Fast forward 2 days. I got my TWC Bill with a charge for $ 150. (Sigh) When I called, I had the customary 30 minute wait (really?), the rep had to verify my return. Good thing I save my receipts! The issue is supposed resolved, but I’m not holding my breath. Like a psycotic ex, TWC is always finding ways to force interaction.
I hate you, TWC.

I needed a digital adapter and a new remote so I decided I would brave the ever-​so-​ominous local Time Warner Cable store. I usually make a habit of coming here right when they open, but on that particular day, I was busy and could only stop in at around 11am.
They have someone stationed at the front of the store, who inputs your name and arrival time. You are instantly put into the queue, and the waiting begins! They have a large screen towards the back of the store where you can see your place in the queue. As expected, I ended up waiting about 30 minutes to be called.
There were a lot of people there, mostly unhappy customers who wanted to cancel their TWC services, but all the employees were understanding and accommodating. You have to give them some credit for having to deal with all that.
After the initial wait, I was able to get the two things I needed relatively quickly. And thankfully, it didn’t cost me a penny, which was a relief.
So A for the employees, but D for the lengthy wait time.
