History

Established in 2013.

The Happy Caker started selling cakes in 2013. I realized my passion for cakes after baking my daughter a cake for her 6^th birthday. I have always had a passion for art and have dabbled in a number of crafts. When I made my first fondant cake it ignited a fire inside and I have spent all my time learning and growing as a decorator ever since. I put all of my love into my cakes and will not let one go out the door until I am fully satisfied with the finished product.

I have watched cake shows on TV for years and wished I could be as talented as the people I was watching. I finally decided to stop watching and just give it a try. I made my very first fondant cake for my daughters birthday 2 years ago and discovered that I can do it too. From that day on cakes have become my passion. I am completely self taught and constantly learning new techniques.
