Tara McGuinness Attorney & Mediator

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Tara McGuinness. You would think when you are paying an attorney that much money (for a divorce) she would have the papers out on her desk and familiarize herself with the details before you walk in the door. When I would enter the office, she would start looking for my file… wasting time. Sometimes she would even talk about herself! Who wants to hear that when you are paying by the minute. In addition my phone calls were not returned. Her assistant was down rite rude and hung up on me. I had something urgent come up and called Tara Thursday expecting her to call me back… but oh that’s right, attorneys don’t work on Friday and on Thursday, they are planning their weekend. Because Tara was a very poor listener and she thinks everyone is rich and has money, she proceeded with the divorce papers asking my husband to pay so much money for child support and alimony that it was ridiculous. She said she didn’t believe his income statements. My husband was not making that much money! Of course my husband would not sign the papers, which just prolonged everything. I was so disgusted I just dropped the whole thing. To this day I totally dislike, distrust, and basically hate attorneys. They are bottom feeders.
