Went here for a grad lunch and it was great! The food was yummy and the service was spectacular. Their meat platters were filling and could feed an entire army. I recommend getting their ground beef and diced chicken; it was juicy and tasty.

Food was horrible, service was not so great, did not serve what we were promised and they over charged our party. I definitely make sure none of my friends or family to come back to this place. Koobideh meat was dry, Filet Kabab was over cooked and chicken had a frozen taste to it.

I was studying with a classmate from Iran. She was new to the south bay area, so I decided to bring here to Seaside Palace. I’ve been a regular here for many years, and I’ve always had good service. This time was no exception. The host seated us immediately. He brought us water, bread, and some appetizers(check the pics). I ordered chicken kebab with zereshk polo(rice with barberries). The food portions were HUGE, enough for several meals. I ate all of the chicken, and a good amount of the rice. I still have enough leftover zereshk polo to complement several meals for the next several days. My classmate was brought enough food to last here several days. The host was awesome, as was everyone else on staff. The host took time to chat with us for a while. I tipped him very well, as the food and service was above-and-beyond great. I have always brought friends, and will continue doing so. I thank the staff here for the great experience!

I come here maybe a few times every few months. The food is good. But its inconsistent. For example, one time you can go and the food is great. You can go the next day and its not as good. Their tadig is usually very good. They give you a huge portion and for a few dollars more you can get their stew. I usually get their walnut stew or herb stew. Both of which are my favorite ones their(it is also vegetarian). Their sabzi rice is fantastic i think they add butter to it which is why its so good. The fried white fish is very good and fresh. parking is always free and easy to find. Now the service. The service is ok. They harass you for the tip. One time they followed us outside after we left asking for tip. They are very stingy.

Came here for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. They share their parking lot with the meat store that I frequent, so I thought I’d give this place a try after seeing it a few times. I had the beef koobideh, and it was very flavorful and tender. Very good! Love their saffron rice. Husband had the lamb shank and it was HUGE. For $ 16, it came with rice and a huge piece of lamb shank that was super tender. He loved it. I love grilled tomato over Persian rice, so I was hoping I’d get a couple with my plate, but it was one small one that wasn’t very juicy, so that was one minus for me. Otherwise, service, food, price was all great, and I will definitely come back for other dishes. I hear they have good lunch specials, but I ordered their regular size and just packed the rest for dinner. One less meal to cook. Enjoy!

This restaurant is excellent for kebab! Love the cornish game hen kebab and koobideh, which is skewered ground beef kebab. Kebabs are charbroiled over open flames. Barberry rice is delicious. Belly dancing on Friday & Saturday nights is fun to experience with friends.

Came here with my husband when we had a craving for some Persian food. I never even knew this place existed but my husband had known about it since his high school days. We got a meat combo with a salad. The bread and butter is yummy as an appetizer. My husband put butter on his rice and devoured it so I did the same and man was it delicious. I had leftovers for the ext day and it still tasted the good. The koobideh and chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Made me want to order from this place for catering some day. Parking was easy on a Saturday night and they definitely had their share of regulars and large groups(we were seated immediately however). If you don’t care too much for the live entertainment, it might be a good idea to order take out. :)

Disappointed in their take out. I live in Orange County, where there’s no shortage of any ethnic food, particularly Persian. Apparently there’s only a handful in Torrance, and Seaside Palace being one of perhaps six places which is specifically Persian/Iranian in a 5 mile radius. It was a Saturday night, and raining. I wasn’t in the mood to dine in, so we called in for a Chicken– Beef Koobideh combo, and requested an extra tomato. We have been to places where they charge one price if you ask for a beef(or) a chicken koobideh, but if ask for one of each, the place up-charges you a buck or two(ahem, Fanoos!). So when we found out that Seaside didn’t up-charge us for this request, we were quite happy. Apparently, the prices aren’t so flexible for one extra tomato. When we went to pay for the order the lady said $ 17 and change. What? The koobideh combo was $ 12.95. Apparently extra tomato(es) are $ 3 more. Wow, that was sticker shock. I thought a tomato would be a buck more at the most, but oh well, we should have asked when we ordered. I asked her how many came in a side and she said I put 3 in the box, which I assumed we were getting 4. When we got home, we had 3 tomatoes in the box(so the side order came to $ 1.50 each extra tomato) and we were given a brown bag with just 1 pita bread, 1 pat of butter, ¼ onion and a small container of sumac. I was a bit disappointed because many places I’ve been to gives at least 2 or 3 pitas or lavash. I was a bit disappointed for what we got for take out. I am not a first time customer as I have been to Seaside Palace but for lunch, and their lunch specials are fantastic. For less than $ 10 you get a ton of food, and plenty of bread. I guess for take out, they don’t offer as much. I think I’ll stick to this place for lunch, and find some other place in the South Bay for dinner or take out. On a side note, we arrived at 8:00 and their live entertainment was a guy singing in Spanish! Wow, now that’s … weird.

If you are craving kebabs and koobideh, then Seaside Palace is your place to be in the South Bay! Overshadowed by the Del Amo Mall as well as the hectic traffic going down Hawthorne, you can pass up this place very easily. I didn’t know this place even existed until I moved down this way. But once you find it, you’ll be stuck on it. Raffi’s menu is simple including a small selection of salads and appetizers. But the highlights are the offerings hot off the grill. Every table service comes with lavash(an Armenian flatbread), sliced onions, whole radishes, fresh herbs, olives, and lots of pats of butter. The lavash is excellent platform for their hummus or yogurt & moussir(shallots) appetizers, but these are more like dips or spreads. My wife absolutely loves this and can just eat that by itself. Everytime I go to Seaside, I order the koobideh(luleh kebob)…charbroiled seasoned and skewered ground meat atop a heaping portion of basmati rice with whole grilled tomato and green pepper. You can choose beef, chicken, or one kebab of each. My wife orders the shish kebab(boneless chicken, skewered and grilled) and then we split it. If you want more bang for your buck, order the koobideh. The menu also has lamb and fish if you aren’t feeling like beef or chicken. Service is always great, but I guess it’s because we’re considered regulars now. I’ve never had any problems thus far, and I’ve eaten here pretty much every week. Seaside is kid friendly and can accommodate large parties, as long as you call ahead and make arrangements. There’s also plenty of parking located next to the restaurant, so that’s never a problem.

This is the last straw. They don’t even deserve to have their food reviewed. I came with a family of 6 and was charged 10 orders. We all ordered 1 order. It’s not rocket science. Please be careful these people have a tendency to add hidden orders on your order. Especially when you have a large family. It is easier for them to over charge knowing you will be distracted. Never coming here again!

I really like persian food. The meat is so moist and the rice is so fluffy. Anyhow… better than I thought. I had low expectations since this isn’t glendale, irvine or anaheim hills. Large portions, fair prices. Very nice setting. Great for a business lunch or meeting the parents.

I love this place. Every time I come here I always feel as if I am part of the family. The owner of the restaurant is always so kind, and their service is great. The food is phenomenonal. I have had other Persian food at other restaurants but it honestly doesn’t get any better than Seaside. Very high quality and very tasty. My favourite are the stews and the eggplant dip. Definitely worth it and will continue coming back.

Time for some delicious comfort food, The Ghormeh Sabzi is definitely the best in town. maje sure you ask for some Tahdig(crispy rice), pour some Gormeh Sabzi on top it first and then enjoy.

This was my first time trying the food, which I have heard nothing but good things about. I ordered Kashke-Bademjan andTahdig with Ghormeh Sabzi, and asked for a suggestion on a third item. I ordered the food to go and the service was great upon pickup. Problem was when I got the food home. It appeared that I had two orders of Tahdig with Ghormeh Sabzi and one order of Kashke-Bademjan. I was hoping to have a taste of a new third option. Oh well, I was determined to enjoy this eating experience with my son. However he found two hairs in his and refused to eat! I did not return to the restaurant as I live in San Pedro and the restaurant is in Torrance. My plate was fine and without hair, but he found not one but two! The food I ate was tasty but I have had better and after the hair experience, will not be back :/

This was my first Persian dining and I really liked it! I came here for lunch during work. It wasn’t very packed so that was nice. The service was great and they were very welcoming. I ordered the white fish dish and was super surprised when it came out. There was so much food! I definitely had to take some to-go. I really liked the rice and the fish was seasoned very well :) I would come back next time I feel like eating Persian!
