Pro Computer

Jay has gone out of his way to be of service, and he is always extremely helpful and pleasant. My computer gave me a lot of grief in 2014, and I thank goodness Jay was always available to help me. I would recommend him very highly!

My laptop won’t start suddenly. I spent half a day trying a bunch of solutions on Google and YouTube, resetting the battery and such. Nothing i did worked. I drove around a couple of places for immediate help without much success. Fortunately, I found this place on my third attempt. Jay was able to help right away and diagnosed the problem and the computer was back to life in less than 20 min. Quite reasonable price also. I highly recommend him. He saved a lot of time and potential headache.

The motherboard in the wife’s iMac died and needed replacing, so after getting a quote from the Genius Bar I called around for others. Pro Computer had several favorable reviews and they were relatively close to us, plus their quote seemed reasonable.
Once I committed to Pro Computer, Jay ordered the part which took a couple of days to arrive at which point we dropped off the computer with him. A couple more days later I received a call from him telling me it was all done. When I went to pick up the iMac, I was surprised when Jay voluntarily told me that during his repair process he had accidentally knocked the iMac a couple of times, resulting in a few scuff marks, and was thus taking a little off the bill (maybe $ 20? It’s been a while, I don’t recall). Honestly, I would never have noticed myself, but I appreciated his honesty.
Now maybe about 3 months later, my wife found that she could not use certain programs like Facetime and iMessage, as the iMac was no longer reporting a valid serial number. We did some research and determined that the serial number should have been updated when the motherboard had been replaced, so we called Jay to see if he could help.
We brought the iMac in again, and while Jay had never encountered this issue before he did some research and was eventually able to re-​assign the serial number within the system, and did not charge us anything either. (Just as an fyi for anyone running into the same issue — to fully resolve the issue we did have to call Apple to get them to update their systems/​records too, but that was out of Jay’s hands.)

Took my son’s laptop here three separate times. Each time, the problem was never fixed. Last time, the hard drives were switched and the computer would not reboot. Had to take to Best Buy of all places for them to fix it… And for free!

I like this guy. He’s so friendly and price is very reasonable. I’ve been using this store three times whenever I had an home appliance broken, specially Samsung TV and DID. Furthermore, they fixed faster than I expected. I strongly recommend this place.

My laptop was giving me a few problems so I shopped around Unilocal and made a few calls. Jay gave me a good quote and promised to help me get it done today. After going in, he was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. He even gave me good advice on how to prevent any similar problems from reoccurring. Great place with quick solutions.

We had an early am emergency with a computer and called before posted hours. He answered the phone off hours and told us we could come in and he would take a look. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had us out the door in no time and didn’t charge us a crazy premium. I would highly highly recommend this business!!! 5 stars.

Excellent service and very reasonable prices. I took my Gateway laptop in for a broken power button that had rendered it unusable and they found the button online, ordered it and repaired it perfectly. I am very handy with computers, but I would definitely return for things I am unable to do myself.

This place was awesome. The guy was very nice and didn’t make me feel stupid when I brought in my laptop for repair when all it needed was a new cord. Learned a valuable lesson on buying cheap computer crap off ebay.
