Meet the Business Owner

William Lee Parker, PhD P.

Business Owner

Dr. William Lee Parker was raised in Hawthorne California. Both his parents were deaf. Though little William Parker had normal hearing, he didn’t begin to speak orally until he was three-​years-​old. He, of course, became an expert in both sign language and in translating. He became an audiologist, a very good one. In Torrance since 1975, Dr. Parker has been helping the hearing impaired through his famous Parker Hearing Institute. Dr. Parker now wears hearing devices too.

Parker Hearing Institute has tested and fit more hearing devices than any practice in Southern California. PHI now has over 20,000 active patients. His children Andrea and Josh both work with the institute, across from Providence Little Company (4201 Torrance Blvd, Suite 140). Parker Hearing Institute is noted for professional and empathetic patient care.
