There’s a new hair salon at this location… This was my first time here, and I went based in Unilocal reviews. I knew something wasn’t right when I walked in on a Saturday and the place was empty. The lady cutting my hair rushed through the process even though I was the only customer there. She rushed through it so fast that the electric clipper was pulling my hair. Thankfully she slowed down after I complained. I asked her how long she had been there. So apparently the former owner no longer works here and had been gone for about a year. It was $ 20 for haircut and shampoo. But I won’t be going back.

First time I’ve been here and they listen to how you want your hair done. First time I actually like my hair done. Perfect!

This is a great place to get hair cut. I have been going here for hair cut for about 1 year. The owner lady is very experienced and always gave me great hair cut. She speaks Korean and Japanese but little English. But her husband helps with English translation. My kids are getting their hair cuts from here as well.

This place is a great, no-frills, Korean beauty salon for both men and women. The owner lady is great at cutting hair. She has been cutting my hair for years and she always does an awesome job. I have gone to some of the local places(Floyd’s, etc.) and they also mess up my hair. She especially knows how to cut Asian hair and it tends to be more fine, etc. I have been to the Park Jun in Korea which is a very nice and trendy spot(at least it used to be). I don’t think they are affiliated but I don’t know. There is also a skin care room in the back if you want to get a facial, etc. Every haircut comes with a shampoo at the end so that when you walk out, you don’t have little hair particles in your shirt all over your neck, etc.

Park Jun Beauty Lab offer very competitive prices. I hate paying an arm and a leg and feel like my hair result wasn’t worth all that money spent… but that wont be your experience @ Park Jun. Kiyoko, the small Asian lady/owner, knows her stuff. Growing up in LA, we tend to want our stylist to look young and hip to have a little trust and Kiyoko may throw you off at first because she looks like one of those mom figures at the Asian markets. Dont worry tho because she has been cutting and coloring hair since before you were born probably. I had cut and color done by her and she did a great job! She doesn’t really speak English but her husband at the store will translate what you want to her… this will not affect the results you are seeking so do not worry. I hope they will get more than their regular Korean customers because this place is really really great. I used to drive to Monterey Park(40 miles) away to get my hair done but now that I’ve found Kiyoko I can save the gas and get really cute hair as well. Horray!

I’ve gone here about four times now and never left disappointed. It’s super cheap($ 35 for cut, I think $ 60 for cut & color) and the staff is always so friendly. I ask for the asian lady named Kiyoko. I didn’t trust her at first, but I gave her a picture of the cut I wanted and she did such a great job! I also told her I wanted dark/chestnut brown hair and it turned our perfect. I’ve been to quite a few salons in the area and they never give me what I ask for so I was happy to find Kiyoko! It’s always such a crappy feeling when you pay an arm and a leg and yet you don’t get what you asked for or don’t even like it at all. So. cheap and great haircut, I’ll stick to this place :)
