His uncle inspired him to eventually operate his own company. With hard work and determination he began his company in 1985. I’m a little late with this review but was just reminded of your company when a friend asked for a referral. Randy the owner was great. Price was fair and they all arrived/​finished on time.
Houses near the beaches are simply not designed to have AC in the first place. Very tight spaces in the attic if you even have one. No hiccups on the execution. What I liked the most was the quality of work. Ran all the lines nice and clean. He and his team made it happen on a very difficult installation when others simply said it wasn’t possible. You get big creative points from me. Otherwise known as experience.

I called Randy through a referral from my trusted electrician. When I called I was told that Randy was booked out for about 3 – 4 weeks. Even though we wanted to get started earlier, we’re very glad we waited. Randy is old school and honest. He doesn’t try to sell you what you don’t need. He never over promised and took pains to only tell me what he could deliver. I am very happy with the installation of my new AC/​heater. I hope I don’t have to call him anytime soon, but if I do, I know he’ll get the job done right. Also a shout out to his son. A very pleasant young man, who did an excellent job.

Great family company! Got a new AC system installed today and they did a professional job. Best quote out of 4 different companies. Josh and Randy even fixed our furnace that was having some issues and didn’t nickel and dime us over it. In fact they threw in the furnace repair for free since we had the AC system installed. Glad to see there is still honest people out there that do so good work.

I had 5 bids on installing a new AC and HVAC system. The home never had AC and with every bid I got different answers. Some said getting the permit would be impossible, others asked me to get the permit myself. Some companies never called back after looking at the project and others quoted a crazy price. I almost gave up hope then I called One Way and Randy came to give a bid. He came on time and he emailed me the bid promptly the next day. He said there would be no problem getting the permit, they do this type of work all the time in the South Bay. I hired One Way and when they came to do the job they did it faster than anticipated and with no problems. They never called once to tell me there was a problem and that it would be more expensive. This was not an easy job but they did it on budget, faster and with higher quality than I could have ever imagined. I am absolutely delighted with my new HVAC system and highly, HIGHLY recommend this company. Additionally Randy, who gave the bid, is the owner and he also oversaw and directed the installation on the project.

Justin came out as scheduled. I had a previous maintenance on our furnace by another substantial company who advised me that my fire box in a 13 year old furnace was dangerously corroded and either needed repairs for $ 3,100 or replacement for $ 7,000. Pictures were shown to me showing the damaged parts, but I did not observe the pictures being taken on my furnace during the maintenance. Justin was very skeptical, took apart our furnace and determined that it worked perfectly, needed no repairs, took more pictures showing no damage and speculated that the pictures I was shown by the prior company must have been from someone else’s furnace. I was charged reasonably only a service call and some extra time for all of the dis-​assembly and assembly required. Clearly this family owned and operated business is a real find and I recommend them very highly. Points out how difficult it is to find a service business that you think is honest and reliable. One Way certainly appears to be a business that customers can safely rely upon.

I called around, did my research. Yeah there are cheaper companies, but there are up-​charges, and surprises that you have to ask why they are cheaper.
Oneway seamed so a bit more expensive, but I liked their honesty and automatically felt I was dealing with a reputable company that stood behind their work.
Oneway came out did their inspection, told me what the issue was with our unit. found a leak, fixed it, checked again and refilled the unit. Now our units works perfectly.
I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the service, these guys are pro’s. No surprises, no up-​charges, honest and respectful and they didn’t try to sell me a newer unit.
At the end of the day, the cost difference would of probably ended up the same, but I’d like to know what I am paying for ahead vs being surprised. And know I am dealing with a respectable, honest company.

My AC went out and needed service. My plumber (Cornett Plumbing) refereed me to One Way, so I checked out the reviews here and decided to call them up. Everyone is courteous and really professional folks. Melissa (I think), who takes appointments was very pleasant, and she promptly called back when I left a message to reconfirm my appointment. Justin came on time, actually called me ahead of time, and he was cool and friendly. He explained everything I wanted to know, the work and the bill very clearly. Just like most of the reviews here, I have to agree that they are VERY HONEST people and comfortable to work with. I am glad there are good companies like this in my neighborhood!

Honest and good people. I had three other companies come out to see what was wrong with my air conditioning unit– it’s was one of those hott days a while back– they came out and very quickly fixed it. I plan to only use this company.
The other companies wanted to not only make up what was wrong withy the unit and over charge me– one wanted to have me but a whole new unit– I own a flower shop and I like honest and real business. I feel like a lot of companies take advantage of ya when you personally don’t know how to look at the mechanics of air conditioning units especially when on a business roof top– I highly recommended this company!

Great Fast Competent service, I have been a general contractor over 30 years and have dealt with plenty of flaky sub contractors and workers, I called One Way when I could not figure out what was going on myself because of a Referral from a good plumber friend of mine, Justin showed up on time quickly diagnosed the problem and had the Circuit board on his Van that was needed for the repair, many thanks! you wont be disappointed with this firm!!,

I had One Way come out to service our AC unit a few months ago. It felt like it wasn’t running efficiently and sure enough, Justin found that the filters needed to be replaced and coolant was was low. Everything was taken care of in about 35 minutes. Quick and friendly service. We will definitely use them again.

After we told the repair person of a loose wire, he told me that a huge repair was required or a new furnace. My dad went over to check it out, took the loose wire, reconnected it, and the furnace works fine. Such a scam!

I am new to the area so i depend on Unilocal for finding businesses in my area. One-​way heating and air were not my first choice but were recommended by another company that were short staffed. Guy came out within an hour, was extremely courteous. My dog had gone under the house and knocked the wiring to heater loose. He could have told me just about anything was wrong and I would have believed it, but he was honest and did not charge me a fortune. I highly, highly recommend One-​Way.

Randy is a great guy and this is a great company. We called him out because our A/​C wasn’t working, he thoroughly checked the system and found out that the electrician had turned off the switch that operates the condenser unit outside while doing some other work, Randy turned the switch on and ran the A/​C until it got cold. I’m so happy we chose to call Randy, very professional and thorough. Will not hesitate to refer a friend or neighbor and I’ll be sure to call him first if we have any other heating or A/​C problems.

We have a Lennox heater that has had ignition problems since we bought it 10 years ago. It has been out of order for a while. To get it started we had two repairmen come out. We paid the minimum service fee and got their advice. The first one didn’t know what was wrong. The second one said we needed an entirely new unit which would cost up to $ 5000. Then, as a perfect Christmas gift we met the Adam and Randy Langsdale. They were on time, fixed it, repaired the controller the other guy wrecked and charged no more than the other repairmen. God bless One Way Plumbing, they have made our Christmas one of the best ever since we now have heat without a huge bill for a new heater. A Christmas miracle!
