My Pets Lunchbox

A friend of ours recommended this place for our dog and we couldn’t be happier! This is a small business that is owned by Maria, a friendly and knowledgeable dog lover.
We purchase bully sticks, dry dog food and freeze fried beef from this shop. I was afraid that their prices would be high, but they are actually fantastic. Whenever we buy stuff, we always compare it to Amazon and this place always beats them! I love that Maria never overstocks her shelves so you know that she is always selling fresh stuff that hasn’t been aging for months. She also creates «remember me» cards so you never forget which type of dog food your furry friend is currently loving.
Whenever we come in, Maria is always very welcoming and always gives Toby a little treat or two. She also gives us advice about some training for Toby which we practice at home. Awesome one stop shop! Also, we try to pay cash so that she doesn’t have to pay a percentage to credit card companies :)

Friendly and helpful! Some of the prices are better than online + other stores. Will keep coming back here to get my dog’s food.

just another update, this place rocks. went in looking for new beds for the dog, they had some nice ones and she gave me a good deal on them. then we got to talking about food and other stuff. very helpful. she gave me some tips on feeding and ear cleaning and help with my dogs ear infection. i also forgot some of the cool good brands of food and products they have. then she gave me 5 – 10 free sample bags of food, A+ very happy shopper here…

I recently adopted a dog from a rescue. I wanted to make her adjustment to her new home as comfortable as I could, so I wanted to continue to feed her the same dry food as she was previously being fed. The only place around that carried it was My Pet’s Lunchbox. I have always been one to support local businesses, especially family-​owned. I hit the jackpot! They are always so helpful every time I’m there. If they don’t have a product, they will make sure to order it and bring it into the shop.
Also, they let me bring Sadie with me. She loves going and picking out a special treat.
I found their pricing fair, as well. Just recently, I went online to price the Zignature dog food I buy. The lowest price anywhere, including Amazon, etc. is at My Pet’s Lunchbox. I have to add too, that I pay by cash or check so they don’t have to pay 3 fees each time a credit card is used. It’s a Win-​Win for both myself and the shop.

This place is a true gem! It’s a little family run shop… like the good old days with good old fashioned customer service. It’s so tough to run a little family run operation these days. I hope every pet owner in the area will take the time to support this shop. They truly care about the community as well as our much loved pets.

I stopped in yesterday as I drove by to look for a new collar for my puppy. After 2 – 3 minutes of talking to the owners, they recommended I bring her in to make sure the collar fit her properly. It was then, I knew I was in the right pet shop! They suggested a brush and a technique to get the undercoat out of my Husky (that time of year). Then we spoke for 15 minutes about pet food. Apparently the owner Gary had attended a conference for Vets on what to feed dogs. After hearing all they had to say about the horrible food I buy from Target I have a new, healthy, no-​filler pet food that is both excellent for my dogs but affordable as well! This shop is 7 miles from my house, but I will go to no other ever again!!!

I don’t think I have ever in my life posted a review but this place is definitely worth it! I consider myself lucky I stopped by! I absolutely love this place. Prices are about the same as any chain pet store. And even if they happen to be a bit higher, it is totally worth it. I have a 9 month old red nose pittie who has extremely sensitive skin and used to constantly break out. I tried Petsmart, Petco (i have yet to find an employee that knows what they are talking about and my vet as well but nothing seemed to help. I went into My Pet’s Lunchbox and first talked to Gary who recommended The Missing Link as well as food. He gave me a few samples and took the time to explain to me how it works and what to do! I didn’t feel rushed or like I was wasting his time at all, even though I asked a million questions! On another trip to the shop, I talked to Maria for at least 15 minutes and she gave me some training tips for my guy! Again, I didn’t feel rushed at all! They always have everything I need in stock. There are plenty of options! And their treats are all made in the USA which is very important to me since the ones made in China were recalled and are not all that healthy. I love love love this place! It is definitely a gem in the South Bay. I don’t even remember last time I went to a pet store. If you need quality dog supplies, food, toys, and knowledgeable staff, this is the place!!!

Little hidden place that IS OPEN ON SUNDAYS. Had to go in there to get the Gobbler Wobbler food for my son’s dog. The lady was very very nice & even carried the big bag of dog food out to my car for me. I love supporting my local small businesses especially when they are really really nice & helpful people.

Well the prices are just a smidge high, but our dogs LOVE the gobblers wobblers. They are free feed, but when we put the wobblers down, they eat like they were starved. They have some very good choices of pet food. Its nice to know that people want to sell good product not just for profit, but to feed our pets with food with few if any fillers.
Lastly, these guys are a mom n’ pop shop. I need to do the right thing by shopping local and NON CORPORATE.

A great helpful business. The owner Gary was knowledgeable on the food and made great suggestions. I also agree that their prices are low and given the level of service you receive My Pets’ Lunchbox is a true find. When I needed to ship my daughter’s cat to her at college Gary and Maria gave me all the needed contacts and list of what to do — at no profit to the store. Just them being helpful.

I have now been into My Pets Lunchbox about 6 times, and every time they have always been friendly and helpful. If they are out of the product that I want (happened once), they were able to get it for me and then delivered it right to my door the next day. WOW! Now that’s what I call service. Thank you all for the great service and low prices.
6+ stars would be more appropriate for them.

I was afraid that their prices would be high since it’s a mom and pop shop, but, surprisingly… they are about the same or even less than the big pet shops!
I like being able to support a neighborhood pet store!
