Dr Montell is a great Orthopaedic doctor. He is very knowledgeable and understand your concerns and pain.
He pin pointed my problem while other doctors just pushed me straight to physical therapy. I do recommend him.
He has a great staff and most of the equipment in his office (digital x ray) but not a computerized tomography (I used a third party).

Dr. Montell is the best! Responsive, easy to communicate with, extremely respectful and highly skilled. I have had two knee surgeries with Dr. Montell, and have seen him for various back injuries as well. He explains things thoroughly and clearly, I trust him completely!
Probably one of the most telling aspects of a visit to Dr. Montell’s office: Unlike his suitemates who can keep patients waiting for well over an hour in the waiting room despite pre-​scheduled appointments, Dr. Montell only schedules as much as he can reasonably handle. He has never taken me more than 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment, and even at 10 minutes, apologized for having made me wait. His respect for his patients and their time speaks volumes of the quality individual this man is. He also has a great supporting staff who are equally respectful and kind. I cannot praise this man enough.

Dr. Montell is a great doctor. I have been playing ice hockey and riding motorcycles for 25+ years, and I have seen my share of orthopedists in several states.
Dr. Montell knows his stuff, and he is a great communicator. His office is also excellent with keeping appointment times. My office visits are typically right on time and very efficient.
If you are in the South Bay and you have a sports injury, or another type of injury, you won’t find a better doctor than Thomas Montell.
