I love their BBQ pork sandwich. My coworker introduced me and I enjoyed it very much! The iced coffee is just what I need to get me through my day!

Went a few days ago and ordered a speical asian sandwich and it was fairly good. I loved their iced mocha drink, very good balance. Their coconut drink is amazing as well.

Sandwiches suck. Came here to buy cha lau. They gave me pre sliced, flavorless cha lua. Asked if they had any packaged as normally sold and they said no. Ewwww gross! Didn’t taste anything the way it’s supposed to. Out of the two locations in the South Bay this has to be the worst. Lee’s is not that great to begin with but this is just a new low for them. Bottom line is if you want quality viet food then go to little Saigon.

I called in for a to-go order earlier before work. The cashier was polite and gave me a good amount of extra veggies for my grilled chicken sandwich. I was really pleased with the amount he gave me! :D The sandwich was fresh and better than the location near my house in Cerritos… There was a good amount of chicken and veggies inside, unlike others they don’t give you as much. I’m happy. Thanks!

This location is Okay… Been here twice now(ordering different things both times) and I’ve got to say it’s not my favorite Lee’s. The service is alright and the staff seem nice but the food and drinks here don’t seem to have much taste. So much so, in fact, that the best part of my banh mi is the baguette. It may not have a lot of flavor but at least it’s nice and soft. I also have come to believe, that this location is charging $ 1 more then the usual Lee’s I frequent. Now I understand that perhaps this is due to higher rent pay for this area(???) but it still was a little disappointing. If I had realized sooner, I would probably have tried a local mom and pop banh mi place instead, as the prices would be similar.

This place is really hit or miss. I typically get the veggie on a croissant. Avocados aren’t always the ripest and they are kind of stingy when you ask for extra condiments. The cashier is always super friendly and upbeat, though.

Great prices for good sandwiches, the turkey club is great & the baguette bread is amazing. I love the texture it adds to the sandwich. The iced coffee is the best, rich & gives you the perfect caffeine boost needed at lunch time to finish out the day.

Pretty much the run of the mill Lee’s Sandwhich. I come here occasionally for lunch from work and order their special #11 Vietnamese sandwich. The place during lunch time can get a little crowded as there appears to be a hospital in the area where they usually try and go for lunch. The crowd is bearable and can usually get your sandwich out in time. If you haven’t tried, I’d definitely recommend their iced coffee. It is very strong and rich. It’ll give you that caffeine rush you may be looking for. If its too strong, i like to let the ice melt a little and it becomes the perfect ice coffee. You don’t need to worry about that ice watering down your coffee.

Tears. Tried to get a banh mi 20 min before close and it was a grave error. Meat was cough-inducingly dry and they were super stingy on the ingredients. No pâté. Ugh. So terrible. Sadness.

My husband was given a military discount once before here. So last night we bought some sandwhiches for dinner and he showed the cashier his military id. They cashier was like, «oh I don’t know anything about that». My husband explained that a lady have him his military discount last time. The cashier looked over his shoulder and said, «oh she’s not here now». OK… I woke up at at 5 am with horrendous abdominal pain and have been food poisoned by eating one of their sandwhiches. Never going back there again!

I hate this place. I’ve only eaten here once and will never come back. I got the turkey club on a baguette and it was paper thin. What I’m most mad about is that they put the ends of tomatoes on my sandwich. All three slices! They also forgot my side and the turkey reeks of a refrigerator that needs Arm and Hammer. I’m so angry at myself for spending $ 20 on this sorry excuse for a sandwich shop.

My bf got a veggie sandwich(he shared it with me) and I really enjoyed it. Plus I loved the affordable prices. Just seems like a better option than something like Subway. Most definitely coming back here for sandwiches or iced coffee.

This is my new favorite Lee’s location for the food. It is a fairly small space .The staff is is not quite as friendly as the Rosemead location, but they were efficient. My order was ready within a few minutes. My favorite is the grilled pork sandwich — #5($ 3.49). Although it is not an authentic banh mi, it was a combination of the freshest tasting bread and most generous amount of ingredients of all of the locales I’ve patronized. parking — large, free lot shared with multiple busineses

Banh Mi sandwiches were OK. Plentiful of veggies, fresh bread but meat was scarce and not well seasoned. The meat was well buried under all that veggies. I have not visited the location. Only a recipient of the provisions. The packaged taro mochi was delicious.

This is the second Lee’s in Torrance after the one on Crenshaw Blvd that had opened a couple of months before it. This location seems to be more inviting that the first one as it is has glass windows and is well lit, but somehow it always seems deserted with very few customers which is a shame. A couple of days ago I was in the mood to have a Banh Mi so I decided to give this location a try. I got my regular #4 Grilled Chicken Banh Mi($ 3.49) to go. They do take cards but with a $ 5 minimum it is essentially a cash only place if you only get a sandwich without a drink. The restaurant was almost empty with only one more person waiting for his sandwich before me yet it took almost 15 minutes to get the sandwich(If I remember correctly I went on one of the holidays so maybe that’s why it took so long). It also seems that this location does not have an assembly line like other locations and there was only person toiling away at making the sandwiches(which again could be due to the holiday so I’m not sure). Sadly the sandwich that I got was not toasted properly and the baguette did not have the crunch that is generally associated with a good Banh Mi. Overall sandwich was not bad just not as good as the ones that I’ve had in the other location in Torrance or the Lees in Artesia. I like Lee’s so I’m inclined to be a little forgiving and hope they improve or get their act together before my next visit.

It was a Saturday night, and we were at a boba place when I was craving a bahn mi. I located this Lee’s Sandwich on Unilocal, and they were opened until 10 pm. Located in a strip mall, next door to a foot massage place, is this small Lee’s Sandwich. I guess I’m used to the bigger ones in Orange County, and would imagine this place to be packed during the lunch hour. At 9:30, the place was empty, but the neon«Hot Baguette» light was still on. Its been a while since I’ve been to a Lee’s, so I automatically ordered my #4: Grilled Chicken, while Stephen had the pork meatball. The food came out within minutes, and the bread was still soft and warm. So good! I should have looked at the menu before automatically ordering. This location has bun(Vietnamese noodles), additional variety of Asian sandwiches, such as chinese sausage sandwiches, and even a ½ order of their sandwich if you’re not that hungry. Too bad this location isn’t opened later, or even 24 hours like the one in Little Saigon. Still, it beats the hours of the Torrance one(off Crenshaw and Sepulveda). Overall, a good experience, and its good to know they close later at 10 pm.

My predictions aren’t always correct and in this case, it was on half of the mark. This location is on my way to and from work. I drive by it twice a day, five days a week. I have yet to see it super busy, other than it’s opening day. The stretch of road from Vermont to Normandie on Carson, is very busy! The plaza that Lee’s is planted on, is very busy! So, it boggles my mind that I rarely see Lee’s filled with customers and a herd of cars looking for parking. The service can be slow. The time it takes to place an order can last longer than it should. Employees can be confused and ask more questions than the normal, «will be all?». Patience goes a long way! This place just opened a few months ago, they are might still be ironing out their kinks. I do appreciate the consistent taste of my veggie sandwich each time! It is just as delicious as my taste buds remember and with other sections of the establishments not perfected yet, at least I can rely on enjoying a yummy sandwich! They have a variety of other products that they provide and sell, including individual bananas for $.69, which I like! Not enough coffee establishments sell bananas! They are so beneficial for the body! I am a creature of habit and usually get the same ol’ Iced Americano and Veggie Sandwich but I will be adventurous next time(or if I remember) and try their soy milk and coconut waffle! Another thing, I’ve always had to use cash with other locations, SO… this place might also be CASHONLY as well. Lee’s has conditioned me to have cash whenever I decide to head over to one of their establishments.

My first time to Lee’s Sandwiches and it probably won’t be my last! I need to try a few more sandwiches! I’ve driven by the one on Crenshaw a few times and never gave any thought to going there until all the Unilocalers started talking about it. So, it ended up on my radar and I saw this one the other night and came in today. Parking was a breeze for me, got a close spot right away. When you enter, you immediately see all the goodies for sale and it corrals you into line. I thought it was an Asian sandwich place, had no idea it had European(or American) type of sandwiches and goodies for sale! They have spring rolls, hot wings, steamed buns, beignets, waffles, etc… quite a variety of items! Also, they sell Lee’s Pourover Coffee. There were quite a few people in the restaurant, but I was the only one in line, so I was able to chat with the cashier to see what I wanted. I ordered the #38 Lee’s Club, 5 hot wings, and a large iced coffee. The sandwich was a little dry, could use some extra condiments to moisten it. It had some rings of raw onions, a pepponcini, and a pickle. The Hot Wings were excellent, except they weren’t hot. And the iced coffee was perfect! The only complaint with that is they seem to fill the cup entirely with ice and then pour the coffee. It was so good I wanted more! As another Unilocaler said, they do call order numbers out of order! They skipped mine a few times and I was thinking they forgot about me, but, alas, they hadn’t! Whew! Anyhow, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The prices are pretty economical! You can’t really customize your sandwich(with toppings) like you can at other sandwich franchise places. I was surprised to see American Cheese as the cheese of choice, I like Provolone or Pepper Jack. But, it was not a deal breaker. I recommend taking a good look at the menu(online or in store) to see all your options. Come try this place out!
