La-​Z-​Boy furniture’s are made by lazy people. There are no longer the great brand they used to be. The workmanship of the furniture is very poor. The costumer service is even worse. Whether trying to get repairs over the phone or if you show up at one of their locations and asking for repairs. I would not buy another piece of furniture from them.

No longer a good product. My $ 600.00 chair lasted 3 years with limited normal use. It is not covered under lifetime warranty. I will not buy another Lazy Boy.

I’d like to review their repair department — if I could get them to talk to me. If you call during the day, the recording says they’re closed. If you leave a message, they don’t call back. If you call the main number, they transfer you to the recording.
So their stuff is essentially disposable, warranty or not. If that’s what you want, the chairs were nice for a while.

So about a month ago I purchased a sofa from Kayla. She was great! She helped with us with everything and was very accommodating and professional. Her manager on the other hand, Luis was extremely rude and unprofessional. Wouldn’t buy anything else from this particular store, spend your money at another lazy boy! You’ll love their products :)

Do yourselves a favor and take your business to one of the many other furniture stores in the area. My experience started off very positive with helpful and friendly sales staff and free in-​home design service. I purchased a sectional sofa and a coffee table. 3 months later, I have not received any of the pieces. Worst part — they can’t even give me a date as to when I will receive my furniture and not once did they ever contact me regarding the delays on my order. The best they could do was waive the minimal delivery fee and that was at my request, not their offer. With so much time and money already invested in this order I have no choice but to wait it out. I was however planning to purchase a chair to go with the sofa and I will not be giving La-​Z-​Boy any more of my business.

Do not buy furniture from Lazy Boy. The salesman told us we were buying a leather sofa. After 2 years, it cracked and the coating is coming off. Went to the store and I was informed that we did not buy a leather sofa… salesman clearly misrepresented the item. The manager told me that that was pretty standard for that material… said it usually starts cracking after a couple years!!! Called customer service and they were no help. Was transferred to corporate, supposedly, and the woman said I could take a picture and MAYBE they would give me a discount on a repair since it was out of warranty. I can’t believe a company would not stand behind their product even if it is out of warranty. I will not pay more to have something fixed that is clearly defective. They should at least come look at it and repair or replace at their cost. Now I either have to live with it or trash it or give it away. No chance of selling it… who would want to buy it? I will never ever again shop at Lazy Boy.

I came in on ²⁄₁₉ with the expectation of buying a recliner and having it delivered within a week. They were having a Presidents’ Day sale, so I got a pretty good deal on a chair and the sales people were friendly and helpful. I ended up choosing a color that was not in stock (all they did have in stock was red or blue) and the sales person told me the color and chair I was selected would take 6 – 8 weeks to be delivered. I almost left at that point as that sounded like a really long wait for a plain white recliner. After thinking about it I decided to just order it hoping that it would come sooner. 4 weeks later they called me to let me know it was ready and set up a delivery time. My chair came on the date they said it would and in good condition. The delivery guys were fast and called the day before with a time frame, and also called 20 minutes before arriving to let me know they were on their way. Me and my dog love our chair, and the store was nice, but minus one star for the long turnover time in producing the furniture.

They are either incompetent or liars. They take your money and everytime you ask about the delivery they have a different reason for why it won’t be delivered on time.

One star is two too many for this company.
I bought a chair here a few months ago and within the first couple of months the piece of wood that the springs attach to had broken in half just from sitting on it for a couple of hours per evening.
When I contacted the company they told me that they would send me a replacement part and that I would have to call them back when I received it to schedule a repairman to come out and service it.
It took about two weeks for the part to arrive and another week before the repairman had an opening in his schedule.
He called me the night before he was due to be here to make sure I had the part and when I opened the box it turned out that it was not the correct one, so he ordered a new one himself and told me to reschedule with him when it arrived.
I don’t necessarily blame them for the fact that the wrong part had been shipped out. I tried to explain the part as best as I could and the woman on the other end tried as best as she could too to understand what I was trying to explain — maybe something got lost in translation?
Fast forward a month and I’m still waiting for the correct part. When I called and emailed lazboy they first told me that the part would be sent that week, a couple of weeks later a factory delay was responsible for the fact that the part was not shipped out yet, and then their computers were down so they could not give me any other updates, etc etc.
When I asked them why no one had contacted me to let me know about the delays, the woman said that they have too many customers to be able to do that!
That’s a pretty dire indictment on this company — they have so many customers with overdue repair needs that they’re not able to contact them with updates on their deliveries/​repairs.
I was also told that they intend to service my chair but words without action doesn’t really help my situation.
At this point I would rather have my money back because every time I look at that broken chair as it sits in the garage I get pissed off, but when I’ve asked for a refund I have gotten either no response at all or a «you’re past the 3 day return policy.»
Don’t do business with this company — they are no longer the solid company they once were and they obviously don’t give a damn about their customers nor product quality.

After about 6 months of browsing for a new couch, we finally purchased one at La-​Z-​Boy during their presidents day sale. We had such a good experience there when we were still just looking for couches that we went back when we were ready to purchase.
There were plenty of salespeople available, but we weren’t hounded or pressured at all which was something I hated at the other furniture stores we visited. Our Salesman Derek was great! We decided we wanted to upgrade the fabric and he helped us find something within our budget. I was surprised you could customize your couch so affordably! They had tons of fabrics to choose from so we had no problem finding one we liked.
The sectional we went with had a lot of different customization options so you could basically create the exact couch you wanted. The couch comes with a 5 year warranty against stains, rips etc. It was 6 – 8 weeks for a custom couch, but so worth it to get the exact couch you want.
About a week before our couch was ready Derek called to schedule a delivery time. It was no problem to get it delivered right away AND on a weekend which I was happy about. I hate taking time off work to sit around and wait for something to be delivered. When they initially schedule the delivery, they just give you a date. The day before the scheduled delivery they call and give you a 3 hour window. Day of, they call you when they are 30 minutes out, which I really appreciated. Then you aren’t a hostage for 3 hours! The delivery guys showed up in the beginning of the window (after the heads up phone call) and had the couch upstairs and set up in no time. They will also move your old couch out for you (they won’t take it away but they will lug it down the stairs for you which is really helpful). They made sure the couch was set up and placed exactly where we wanted before leaving.
I couldn’t be happier with my La-​Z-​Boy experience!

We stopped in to buy some furniture for my son who recently moved to the area. I was so impressed by the low pressure but very knowledgeable service provided by the salesman, Bryan. He showed us many options that fit into our budget and explained the warranty and delivery process which was great because we had only a small rental car. I only wish I could have furniture delivered to my home up in Northern California, I’ve been to our local store before and didn’t receive anywhere as good customer service as I received here.

Over two months and still haven’t received our sofa. Ridiculous stalling from their customer service reps and patently dishonest about delivery wait times. Buy your item and expect to receive it sometime next season. Surprised this company is even still in business.

ive been to this location and bunch of times and got a few sofas and chairs from them. the sales people are really nice, always helped me out and been at full service when i needed it. helped me pick out sofas, mix colors, find fabrics. They explained to me options and prices, and this time around gave me free shipping on the couch we purchased. This location has lots to choose from, and the prices are good. they always have some sale going, i guess what furniture store dont, but we found some nice stuff here for great prices. i would go here again.

I agree with Alby P. Once you pay your stuck. I’m on a contract now and their customer service is very poor and incapable of working with me!!! Their delivery process sucks! You can’t request a time, only a day.

In a nutshell, La-​Z-​Boy won’t repair or replace our broken chair in spite of a written ‘lifetime warranty’.
Our 9 year old $ 1600 leather chair looks new — except for the fact the base cracked and broke off. No, we’re not fat, nor do we use our chair as a trampoline. It just broke when my husband was sitting in it. It is completely unusable because it’s a pedestal base, not four legs. It can’t be used as a chair or anything else, except firewood. It is in the garage, propped upside down on some blankets and a beanbag chair.
When we first contacted La-​Z-​Boy, they charged us $ 80 to send a ‘service man’ out — no, not fix it — to photograph our chair. I suspect this is their idea of an income stream. Three days later, the ‘repairman’ informed us they weren’t going to repair the chair.
Their own ‘customer service’ employees don’t know what is and isn’t covered by warranty. Imagine their surprise when I told them I had all the original receipts and warranties (especially after 9 years.)
Each different ‘customer service’ representative had a different explanation why our chair wasn’t going to be repaired. One said because they don’t make the chair anymore, they won’t fix it. SInce they revise their product line every couple of years, I suspect they rarely or NEVER repair or replace anything.
How convenient.
Another said because ours was a ‘special designer chair’ it wasn’t covered — I guess the more you pay for La-​Z-​Boy furniture, the less likely they are to do anything except snicker behind your back when it breaks.
Yet another claimed that the ‘frame’ covered by the warranty was the metal hardware (which is not a frame, but a mechanism which wasn’t broken) and not the wooden parts — except our paperwork/​warranty reads that «all wood parts» are covered by their ‘lifetime warranty’.
‘Lifetime’ is a misnomer. More like ‘until we feel like it.‘
The only thing they offered was a 10% off coupon for a new chair (as if) — and they did end up refunding us our $ 80.
I wish this were an isolated issue, but according to the hundreds of complaints I’ve read it’s not.
Brooke Shields needs to stop hawking their junk.
