Established in 1957.

We were established in 1957 in Inglewood Ca. In 1960 we located in Torrance on Hawthorne Bl. were we remained until 2007. We then moved to our current location. The company is owned by Dan S. who is the third generation owner

I have called this company no less than 10 times trying to get them to come out to my house. I even agreed to pay for the service call… whatever it took to just get him to come out. No response and nothing but excuse after excuse from the super nice receptionist. How busy can this guy be. All I wanted was a tune up on a couple of shower enclosures in Hermosa Beach. This guy is terrible. Never use unless you have a really easy and lucrative job… then maybe he will call you back.

I have been meaning to give my review on Ideal Glass & Mirror. Since we had a water leak in our shower last year, it was time to remodel our main bathroom. Ideal Glass and Mirror did an excellent job with our new glass shower door and mirror. When an appointment was made, they were on time. They even complimented on the person that installed our new subway tile in the shower. I would use Ideal Glass and Mirror again in a heartbeat.

Great service. Needed a custom glass top for my 46 gallon bow front aquarium and Dan delivered way beyond what I expected. The top was an exact fit and he even drilled the hole for a knob for my lid. Price was also way below what everyone else was quoting.

Fast, professional, affordable, and experienced local mirror & glass company! I only use Ideal whenever I need glass or mirrors done. I have this Italian walnut china cabinet with matching 12 person table with mirror inserts. The mirror on the extension and table top had broke (on accident) and we took it in for a quote. Apparently, it was a rare bronzey tinted mirror so the cost was high. We opted for standard mirror (silver) without the outdated beveled edges this time and we were able to do the whole set for 1⁄3 of the price. Yay! Thanks so much! My table looks great. Just in time for Thanksgiving!

New installs are done well and with high quality. After a few years of service the door is showing wear and not working like to did when new. I called Ideal and they really didn’t care at all and were completely unhelpful. So if post sale service is something you think you will ever need, go elsewhere as they are not interested nor are they helpful in locating companies that could help.
