Just got a flat tire at night. Called and they were here within 15 minutes. Changed tire within 5 minutes. :)

Jake and Martel were such awesome guys to help me move a 67 VW from my mom’s house to mine. Hard workers and good at what they do. I owe you guys. Thank You so much!

I called because I had lost my car keys and needed my car towed and opened. They had a no problem attitude when I called and asked for help and they send over someone to help and explained to me how their service functioned and shared their low costs. I ended up finding my car keys and call them back and they were happy that I have found them and had a ni problem attitute. Marking these guys as one of my favorites. Great customer service is so hard to find these days and I am glad these guys are amazing!!!

Excellent Service. Locked keys in my car. Dealership said since it had a high security locking system and that it would be impossible to unlock and needed to be towed to them. Called AAA for a tow truck to tow the car 60 miles. Roberto arrived and within a minute got the door open. Great response time and great service. Without a doubt the best overall service received via AAA

This company towed a show car that has been in the final stage of a TEN YEAR long build. The driver strapped THROUGH THE WHEEL, as opposed to the [Normal] method of strapping OVER the tire in addition to around the Control Arm. I also told driver that radiator mount was missing a bolt, so not suitable to pull from that point onto the flatbed. Ignored me.
End result, my rim was severely bent. Rims are no longer in production, and I was GENEROUS to ask that they only cover HALF the cost to replace them. This is AFTER [Tony] admitted that they Screwed Up. They then began to ignore my repeated requests to conclude the matter.
I will now file a Formal Complaint with AAA, as well as proceed to recover cost of FULL set of replacement wheels [and WILL Prevail] in Small Claims Court. It was Pure Negligence.
If you have a vehicle that is unusually valuable to you, insist that AAA send a Different company when you call for assistance.

I think this company is great the drivers are neat and clean the trucks are spectacular newest equipment I would definitely recommend them to anybody there the best hats off to you

Disclaimer: I did not use this company, so this is not a review for the company’s service or capacity.
It is not easy to review a towing company since they are showing up at your worst time, and usually give you want you really really need. Either battery service, unlock your car, or simply tow your car.
Today I happen to experience this company in very unique way.
This company’s towing truck was at Del Amo Shopping center (for those who are not familiar with the place, it is a shopping mall in Torrance, CA), and a worker of this company was helping one customer to unlock a car.
His tow truck was blocking my parked car. I waited a minute or two, assuming the worker would notice that I am trying move my car and he would move his car. Unfortunately, the worker did not see me trying to move. So I went up to the worker and his response was
«I’M JUST DOING MY WORK DAWG»
YES, he exactly said that and went back to his work leaving his tow truck still blocking my car. It took another minute or two to finish his work and finally moved his truck.
This is most likely an AAA-​contracted company so I assume many people would have no choice when people are in certain area. BUT, if you have a choice, avoid this rude company.
I don’t care if you can unlock my car in 30 second or provide the best tow service in the world. If you are hurting others while doing your job, you do not deserve to be in the business.
I hope the owner of this company reads this review and send his/​her employees to some sort of training or something.

I have used George & Joeys for years and never had a bad experience with them. A few days ago my car just went dead at a light. After a Lomita Deputy Sheriff helped by pushing the car to the side of the road, I called G &J’s and the truck was there in five minutes!!! … and the driver Carey, was the best!!! very careful driving over the bumpy streets and even pushed the car from the street up the steep driveway into my garage. The BEST!!!

I love George & Joeys Towing. They were 5 minutes early every time they came out to help me, Kevin was great he explained what was going on and he even asked me if I had my receipt for my battery to make sure it still under warranty (it was), something no one has ever done for me before. When I brought my car in for a charge and retest Tony helped me and he was so sweet, most places make me wander around until they’re ready, but they let me sit in the office. (something I really appreciate since I’m recovering from a back injury, something they didn’t know) there is something about this place I find comfortable they are nice people and they are prompt if I need assistance with my battery again I’ll be sure to call them first. Thank you George & Joeys. This has been a rather nice & painless experience as far as battery issues go! I promise I will tell AAA the same thing!

I’ve had two experiences with this towing service and one was thumbs up and the other thumbs down. If not for the first experience, I would give these folks four or five stars.
What everyone should know is that I am an Autoclub Premier Member with 36 years of membership and add-​on RV coverage, so I am quite familiar with the emergency road service that they provide.
In the first episode, my 34 ft. Class A motorhome broke down at the yard where I store it. It’s a Torrance P.O. address, but located in Harbor Gateway. It was NOT parked in it’s space and I was blocking others when I broke down so I had a lot of people mad at me. I called for service about 5:00 PM. I was told the response time would be about 30 minutes.
At 5:50, I called AAA back, told them I hadn’t heard anything, and they told me that they were having trouble finding a truck big enough to tow my rig. At 6:45, they finally called me back and told me there was no one available for the rest of the night and that I’d have to wait until after 10AM the next day !!! I asked who they used (thought it was Scotto) and they said George and Joey’s. They told me that G & J’s had trucks available that could tow my large vehicle, but no drivers that could handle such a large vehicle and that the drivers who had experience with this go home at 5PM. That’s crazy !!!
In all fairness, I called Scotto and several other towing outfits and they told me the same thing. They have trucks for big vehicles, but no drivers because they all went home. What if I had broken down in the middle of an intersection or worse yet, on a railroad track ?? Then I have to wait until 10AM the next day to get towed out of the intersection or off the tracks ?? This is absurd.
The next day, I returned to the storage yard after 10 AM and had to wait 2 ½ hours until they finally got someone from Baja Towing in Inglewood (out of service area) to tow me. He told me their drivers go home at 10PM, but one driver is always available overnight. He gave me his business card with his cell phone and he was real nice.
My second experience was completely different. It was Superbowl Sunday night and I had a flat tire and dead battery on my passenger van. The response time from G & J’s was about 1:10, but the driver was the fastest at changing a tire and getting my vehicle on his flatbed truck that I had ever seen. In ten minutes flat !! He towed me to Sears and I left a note that I would be by in the morning to purchase a new battery.
What others said about driving fast was true. This guy had to turn his truck around and he backed up down my street very fast. Kind of scary, but no harm done. I followed him to Sears and by the time I got there, the vehicle was unloaded exactly where I told him to do so. Outstanding !! And he didn’t even ask me for my AAA card or ID…
As far as the hefty towing prices that others have mentioned, I can’t relate to that. Why someone would want to pay out of pocket when they can get a AAA membership that includes free towing is beyond me. One tow out of pocket can pay for a years worth of membership. Plus, you get multiple free tows.
Bottom line G & J’s was great for roadside assistance with passenger vehicles, but all towing services were lousy with large motorhomes.

Great team! Car broke down. Called those «other» guys who tow for the South Bay and they wanted me to wait around almost 2 hours for a tow truck! G&J Towing showed up in 20 mins! Thought I all I needed was a jump. Driver showed up, he was so super nice! Unfortunately, my car needed more than a jump. In the end we got my car to the mechanic and all was good. Thanks G&J Towing!

So I called this service because I left my keys inside my car… and they were the closest to me and for them to open my car they charged me $ 55 bucks which I though was a little pricey… but when you need service fast what can you do… ALWAYS carry plenty of cash with you!

great service, needed a tow after my car broke down. driver was very helpful and towed my car to 2 different mechanics after a miss communication (on my part) made a bad experience good.

Always interesting to see what type of price gauging happens when you’re a female calling for auto assistance. This place charged $ 60 for the hook-​up and $ 5/​mile. What a rip-​off.
Everyone else has been around $ 100 or less. I would never use this company’s service.

Good Company, fast and reliable service. A lot better than Scotto Towing that’s for sure.
