Best and nicest doctor i have ever met! I was searchinf for a pediatrician for my unborn baby and was researching doctors in the area. I found doctor Gates and i every review i read was great. i decided to go with her. When I had my baby i told the hospital that she was my baby’s pediatrician. They informed her when my baby was born and she came to meet him the next day. She was soooooo nice and helpful. She explained everything thorooughly. She gave me all the info i needed to make the first follow up appointment. At the follow up visit, she took her time with my baby, she talks to him, and always explains what is suppose to be happening with him at what age. As a first time mommy i felt very comfortable with her and love how patient and loving she is. Love her!

We’ve been with Dr. Gates for 17 years! Our sons are 17, 16, & our daughter is 11.
We have experienced only the best of care all these years. From birth to booboos, stitches to casts, and everything inbetween, this practice has conquered them all with just our family alone!
Seriously, whenever there was a need, it was taken care of immediately and professionally. Whether it was a medical form we needed ASAP, medical advice over the phone, or we needed to be seen right away, Dr. Gates and her crew went all out every time to attend to our needs.
We will miss them tremendously as we have just moved out of the area, but hope that a family with 3 kids will take our place and receive the love and care we did for so many years :)

Time to update my Dr Gates & Dr Kreig Review.
My kids had been sick for a few weeks straight so I’d been to see the Drs Gates & Kreig a few times over the past 4 weeks. I’d call and get a same day appt. Easy and stress free. I even had to go in on a Fri once and see another Dr, because their office was closed.
So my last trip, I called on a Friday to get an appt for my Son. He’d been running a fever for a few days, with a runny nose, with a history of ear infection, I wanted to get him on antibiotics right away, if this was starting up again. The gal who asnwers the phone tells me to treat him for his «history of asthma» and is reluctant to give me an appt. I finally talk her into an appt. Needless to say, I was upset. Then I thought about it and remembered last time I tried to schedule an appt on Fri and they were off. So I concluded it was one of the other dr covering for Dr Gates.
I get to the office to find Dr Gates is in this Friday. I mention the experience to Amelia (the most awesome nurse ever) and she advised that she’d talk to the gal who answered the phone. Also that if I ever had a problem, just ask for her and she’d schedule me, no problems. Turns out the gal was new and this was her first week. Which totally made sense since she was not the gal there last week.
Dr Gates, was awesome as always. No ear infection, but did have some inflammed lungs so Dr gates perscribed something for that. She also informed me that both her and Dr Kreig would be in Sat, so if I saw no improvement over night or in the morning, I was to bring him in right away.
I’m at so much peace with Drs Gates and Kreig. They are always willing to see my kids at the drop of a hat, and they take their time. They manage their schedule so effiently that I’ve never been in the office for more than 30 min total. That’s walking in their front door and walking back out.

We have been seeing Dr. Gates for 7 years for our boys, ages 5 and 7. She is so sweet, sensitive, and sits with you as long as you need. She knows what she is doing and takes every precaution. We also love Dr. Kreig, although feel like she over-​prescribes antibiotics for pretty minor things. Overall we love this office!!!

When I had to find a new pediatrician for my kids (ages 11 & 8) after switching insurance from Kaiser due to work, I had a really hard time committing to a pediatrician. But right from the first visit with Dr Gates, I knew she was a keeper! She was attentive and funny and made the appointment entertaining and engaging for myself AND the kids! She’s great at following up and making sure the kids are doing well. I’m sure she’s super busy, like all other doctors out there, but she still makes sure to give you a call :) I HIGHLY recommend her if you’re looking for a pediatrician in the Torrance area!

Dr. Gates is fabulous. She knows what she’s doing, very smart lady. Her nurse and the lady at the front desk are so nice and friendly. Dr. Gates also has a doctor that fills in for her on her days off (can’t remember her name right now), but she is also very personable and good with kids. I have three kids and all have gone to her. I wish we were still in the area so they keep going to her.

I love both Dr Gates and Dr Kraig! They’re a wonderful team and wonderful with my twin boys! I love that they talk directly to my toddlers and never make us feel like we’re being rushed through an appointment. I really do think we hit the jackpot with our pediatricians! Their receptionist (Cindy) is super wonderful and always helpful. Her nurse (Amelia) is always caring when she needs to give vaccines. And everyone is always in a very cheerful mood.
You really can’t go wrong with this team! I would highly recommend them to any parent. :)
