Best chiropractor in the South Bay! Dr. Appell assisted me after a car accident and he was extremely knowledgeable! He regularly attends training seminars, so he’s very up-​to-​date and just an incredibly friendly person. I highly recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr. Appel since 2006 and he is a life saver in healing my body that is so fatigued and sore from my computer job. I sit at the computer all day long, sometimes up to 15 hours a day when we’re trying to meet monthly deadlines. I develop tightness and excruciating pain in my neck & shoulders and I’m always amazed how Dr. Appel is able to find all my sore areas through his activator technique, NET and structural work on the table. The pain in my neck & shoulders always get released and I start feeling better in the next day or two. Although I love getting massages and they feel good at the time, they don’t make the pain go away.
Dr. Appel practices Neuro-​emotional technique (see
) which «finds and removes neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress.» I found this technique to be so effective in getting to the root of my physical ailments. I also take natural whole food supplements called «Standard Process» (see
) which is so much healthier than buying processed vitamis at the store which take much longer to break down.
Through my comprehensive treatment with Dr. Appel, I feel healtheir and more balanced, and I am able to counteract the stress of my job on my body.

Dr. Appell is a fantastic chiropractor! I almost hate to write a review for fear of making it hard to get an appointment, but he is such a kind, generous soul that I want his business to thrive. So risking making it harder to get in last minute to see him, here is my review.
Dr. Appell has helped my son and I through countless health issues. The main reason we started seeing him was because I had what I thought was permanent nerve damage in my arms, and my son, who I believe was four at the time, (he is seven now) had severe and persistent car sickness. It turns out both issues were reversible and we have gone on to see him for everything from coughs to rashes (that is as close to A-​Z as I could get!).
He uses a technique called The Activator (
), which is directed pressure that he applies based off muscle testing. Meaning, he only adjusts what needs adjusting. In addition to helping with alignment of the bones, tendons, and muscles, he helps support your body with nutritional supplements (mostly Standard Process) and emotional support (using NET (
), and their homeopathic remedies). He calls it the home run, and his services really are. My son adores him and his partner, Hea Ran Kim, a licensed acupuncturist. In addition to great service, they really are kind people that just want to see people achieve their optimal health. Good luck on your journey to healing!

I have decided to break my Unilocal silence and with it I would like to begin sharing all of my most favorite places in the world. Oddly enough, this is the first place that came to mind… probably because I spent 3 days a week there for the last 3 months after being pummeled over as a pedestrian by a car… :[. Anyhow! I’m all better now and that is mostly due to this chiropractic gentleman here. Dr. Francis Appell is one of the warmest and most professional quality health caregivers I have ever encountered in my life. His office is also similarly warm. He approaches you like a human, not like a case, and actually genuinely cares about your well-​being. His method of chiropractic involves paying attention to the way large scale physical accidents, daily stresses, your nutrition and emotional states all play into the structure and stress on your body. Plus he mostly employs the activator technique so the lovely sounds of bone crushing were mostly absent from my experience. Most insurance accepted I think, parking lot & entrance in the back.
