These guys were great! Super friendly customer service — super quick smog. They told me one price over the phone, and the same when I walked in. It was the cheapest I could find in my area so I went with them. Then when they were done, they decided to give me an extra discount! What a change from most of my auto shop experiences (especially as a female). I’m usually prepared to get taken advantage of — and they did just the opposite. Super great guys. Will definitely be back here again :)

Took my2006 diesel 2500HD chevy truck to get a smog check here. He did not know how to smog a diesel, he wasted my time making me wait 30 min. Didn’t start any paperwork with the DMV just looked under my hood and then told me I could not pass the California smog I asked him why and he said the truck smokes, so I asked him to show me the smoke, he could not make it smoke, then told me I have to get it fixed and bring it back.
So I went down the road and the next California smog station I came to passed my truck and said its fine, does not smoke at all. Easy Smog is not the place to take a diesel, and I glad it does not smoke.

Fast, friendly, offers discount at Check-​In. Was in a hurry, ck’d to make sure I had my docs, but had forgotten. Was so great to say I didn’t need to go back to get, could do with info off vehicle (VIN?). How accommodating is that! Been coming for yrs and for both vehicles! Make ‘im your place to get your vehicles smogged! Cleaner than most!

Easy Smog is such a reliable place. I have been taking my car to Taik for five years. There’s no other choice for me. The boys work quick, honest and very informative. Prices are unbeatable. I recommend to all my friends.

I’ve been going to them for years and just realized I hadn’t given them the review they deserve. Recommended by my brother’s friend after going through many dishonest mechanics (I do my research on ballpark figures and check the work that’s done). I must say that they know what they are doing.
They are very knowledgeable and give you reasonable prices. Now you know how difficult it is to find reliable trustworthy mechanics. I would definitely travel back to them if I had to move out of the city!

Very easy to get the smog check done. Only thing to make it better would be if they had a second test station. Reasonable cost.

Great place for a smog. more so for me, i live 1 minute from this place. i went in on a sat morning and was first in line. They got me in and got my smog done, and in 15 minutes i was out the door. A+. what more do you need to know. I will use these guys again. Price was normal ~$ 60.

Over the years I’ve been to a lot of places. I thought I was getting great service at Fletcher Jones in Newport until I got tired of financing the espresso machine and realized the mechanics were on commission. With my other car, I bounced around different auto shops trying to find the ellusive one place that was IT. None have been as consistent and attentive to serving the customer as Easy Smog. Not only do they analyze and repair the problem correctly, but ALWAYS in the most cost effective manner. Let me explain, it seems that when you walk in to other garages (dealers or independents), the shop sees you as an atm machine and will milk you on every possible item. That will never happen to you at Easy. Also, as a non auto-​head, I appreciate how they will explain exactly what needs to be done and allow me to make an informed decision. My Honda wagon has 445,000 miles and ¾ of it are credited to Taik and Oscar. I’ve been bringing my cars here since 2005 and will never go anywhere else. If Unilocal had a Hall of Fame, Easy Smog would be in it and I would give them six stars because, It gets better than «Woohoo! As good as it gets!»

I have used these guys for 7 years at work and they are THE BEST. They handle my company cars and my personal vehicle with care I cannot recommend them any higher than this Two terrific techies, Taik and Oscar are the absolute best … thanks guys
