Description

Specialties

Expert instruction in piano, guitar and electric bass. I specialize in songwriting, music theory and composition and have extensive experience teaching music at the college level as well as older adults. Children and other beginners are always welcome.

Lessons are geared towards the goals of the student, whether learning to play in the pop style, classical, or how to create jazz chords. There is an emphasis on form and technique to assure good habits are formed.

History

Established in 2002.

I first served on the music faculty at Los Angeles Harbor College 1997, and then at El Camino College in 2002 when my private teaching practice began in Torrance and Palos Verdes.

In 2009 I focused on expanding my own clientele and have since taught exclusively on a private basis.

In 2010 I expanded to San Pedro and have also taught in Redondo Beach.
