History

Established in 1986.

Classic Design was established by Raoul Benassaya (a third generation furniture maker from Paris), and has grown into one of the most sought after custom design and upholstery services in the country. We incorporate the high quality of traditional upholstery methods with modern design, and pride ourselves on attention to the most specific detail, focusing on precision in every cut, and using only the best quality materials to ensure the most comfortable seat and the most aesthetic look.

All of our work is designed, engineered, handcrafted and manufactured at our location in Torrance, California.
