Long Lines, Bad customer service. Bad Parking Lot. Bad Customers.

I have been banking with Chase for forever and have always had nothing but praise to say about them until visiting this branch. Every time I have gone in here there is a line out the door and one or two tellers. I have never complained until this last time and the tellers excuse is it’s the beginning of the month and all the people come in for their social security. That’s fine, I understand that, but if you know that this is an issue every month why not get two more tellers up there helping the customers. Instead I see several bank employees walking around with clipboards «trying to make the line more productive» and two more high tech ATM’s inside where human tellers would be working. If I needed an ATM I’d use it and avoid the line all together. I’d gather that’s the case for most everyone. The only reason to wait in line is to talk to a human teller for questions/​answers one can’t get at the ATM. Chase bank customer service is going down hill. I will no longer be going to this branch or recommending chase bank to anyone.

When I walked in there was only 1 teller helping and 5 people waiting in line. Past 10 minutes 10 customers waiting in line and still only 1 teller working. Are you kidding me? I didn’t get a thank you or a fake smile once. If the teller is tired of working alone she might have to look for another job because she’s only giving out bad impression for the company. After the long wait I still have other matter to resolve with a personal banker, 4 people waiting in the lounge including myself no signing sheet no greetings from nobody. They have no manager or assistant manager or someone to willing to help here? I frequent this location only because I have a safe box here but everytime I come the wait is pretty badTime to consider changing bank or look for a different location.

I like Chase bank. they’re quick, no nonsense — get you in, get you out. Locations are EVERYWHERE. I closed my BofA account and will bank with Chase.

Closing all of my five accounts. Bank lost my check but accusing us of losing it. Asked to play back surveillance system, we were told that the system was catching big robbers only. The branch manager is a moron!!! Try other banks.

Love the new ATMs. Deposit can be made without deposit slips. Checks are fast and very simple.
The best is depositing cash. You are able to do it at the ATMs now. Great feature. That is what kept me with them even after they started to charge me $ 10 a month for my service.

My first time opening a bank account and the lady who helped me was soo nice. We had a very nice conversation and she was thrilled to be helping me. I was soo happy to hear that they had a mobile app so I don’t come as often. But all my family members in the area comes to this bank so The workers knows us very well. We have been a member of this bank long before it was chase. So this is a great bank and very respectful.

The teller was great! She was genuinely nice and she was very fast at processing my deposit without making me feel like she was rushing me out. She is amazing!

Short and skinny, Chase doesn’t know what the heck they’re talking about most of the time.
Lie #1: I opened my account at this location, having been told there were Chase locations in my home state. Visited my home state, and the closest one is two states north.
Lie #2: I was told whenever I was ready, they would be more than happy to open a secured Visa for me to help me establish credit. Then when I was ready, I was told they NEVER offered secured Visas.
When confronted about the lies, one banker, Matthew Martinez, laughed at me and disrespected me in front of my children. Then, his general manager, Samantha, tried pushing her weight around with some snippy attitude as well.
My account is supposed to be a special account to honor Veterans, but I do not consider this treatment any kind of honor. As soon as my direct deposits are transferred to another bank, this account is history. Guess they’ll have to find some other Vet to laugh at and push around, because it sure as hell isn’t going to be me!!!

This is a great location for downtown Torrance. The tellers Debbie Griffith and Leticia Faxas are very fast, knowledgable, genuine, sweet and friendly. Great smile ladies! It’s so nice to see a friendly face and take care of all my banking needs.

I am always greeted with smiles when I come into this location. Today I was very pleased to have been helped by Glenda when I had some account questions. I recommend her if you would like to start an account. Thank you Glenda!

They took out the revolving door! Now I am slightly worried about security. D:
You know, so many gangs and thievery happening in ghetto Torrance.
The service is get here is usually quick. Most people understand to write out their deposit/​payment/​whatever slips before getting to a teller. There are always some lame ducklings.
The few times I have had to wait, a lady came by and asked the line if she could get water for anybody or look up anybody’s account number. Aw so nice.
None of us needed help though so she just stood there hoping we’d ask her for help. I feel like I should have taken her up on her offer but I didn’t want to lose my place in line.
Anyway, I prefer this Chase over the one next to Del Amo mall because the parking, lines, people there are horrendous. 5 stars!

Standard bank, nothing special. Usually stop just to use ATM when I’m in the area.

I thought I’d give a review of this branch location, especially since it’s been over a year since a Unilocaler has posted. While the same weird parking lot exist, there is one positive and one negative difference since Todd M’s review on 2÷18÷2011.
POSITIVE — Removed are the «one person per cycle security doors», and replaced with «normal» in/​out doors in their place.
NEGATIVE — what really chaps my hide? Having nine (9) teller window stations, and only two (2) stations staffed to help customers. It took twenty (20) minutes to get to the window, and it was made worse by a gentlemen occupying the Business teller for the entire time I was there, thus — leaving one open window. Twelve (12) people in line, some cursing. C’mon Chase Management — you can do better than that!
NICE NICE NICE — I will say that the people that work here really seem genuinely helpful and possess a great attitude.
SPECIAL MENTION — I needed a notary, and Jessica Kan was great. She helped me with a special item needing notarization (which is free to customers!), and she did it with kindness, a great smile, and a willingness to help with any other banking needs I had.

Not so bad here. Safe area, but the building is a little weird. The doors that face Torrance Blvd. are not used, so you have to actually go in from the back. Stupid one person per cycle security doors are annoying!!!
Also watch out as the parking lot is very strange! There are designated one-​way aisles, but nobody really adheres to this, and be SUPER CAREFUL of the random telephone pole in the aisleway in the center of the lot!!! Don’t be busy looking around or looking at your phone or something or you might run smack into it! =(
This location gets a little busy but the wait isn’t usually too bad. The tellers are generally friendly and quick, and seem to answer your questions with some semblance of enthusiasm and accuracy.
Even at 4 am the ATMs are pretty safe since the police station is barely half a mile down the road. You can park on the street out front most hours of the day or night, so a quick ATM stop is pretty easy. Just pull up, park, walk a few yards to the atm, and then get on your way. Most other bank locations seem to be on main boulevards, so you have to drive all the way into the lots, park, yadda, yadda, which bugs the hell out of me most of the time.
This is located next to old Torrance too, so you can hit some of the cool restaurants nearby like La Capilla, Ichimi Ann, Kagura, or even Mitsuwa a little across the way.
