History

Established in 2012.

What began as a teaching studio at formerly Marshall Music has now grown into a full service studio with lessons in voice, piano, guitar, saxophone and choir. Free church and school vocal/​performance workshops and master classes/​workshops for building social and musical skills. We offer recitals and performances and enjoy building confidence through music!

Business Owner

Miss Bourque has over twenty years of performance experience in Musical theater, opera, choir and as soloist/​freelance performer and 15 years teaching experience. She’s taught with the LAUSD, the Music Center of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Shepherd’s Grove, Santa Monica College, City Opera, the Guild Opera and more. She has taught the teachers education series with the Music Center of Los Angeles and written curriculum for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Education Division. Her teaching is student centered, helping them to build confidence, and grow while having fun learning. Miss Bourque’s students have performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl under the baton of Esa Pekka Salonen, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion with Maestro Grant Gershon with the Guild Opera Company under director Gabriel Reoyo-​Pazos, on tv in the Hour of Power at the Shepherd’s Grove and more.
