I went here for my Firearms class based on the fact that they are open on the weekends. Let me start off by saying The instructor: Lul is GREAT. She is very honest and knowledgable. As previously stated, she uses real world examples to better explain what you can and shouldn’t do. She was detailed and straight to the point. The course fees are by far the best I’ve come across and I will definitely be going to this location for any further training I’m looking for. From start to finish she made me feel comfortable and kept me informed of everything starting from the forms I was signing, and how the process works when it comes to getting my permit to making sure I keep fulfilling the requirements each year in order to prevent my permit from being canceled.
I strongly recommend you visit academy security training (Torrance) for anything security related. If you are reading this, don’t hesitate and give them a call.

I would highly recommend the Torrance location and current instructor. Lula was very good at making the instructions interactive and interesting. I felt that I actually learned the information and understood with real world examples that were discussed. I ended up signing for the full 40 hours now and saved some money doing so. This is a big help when it is most needed.

Pricing is nominal and the locations for live scan and firearm qualifications are close to the Torrance office. He did meet me at Insight because I left a one-​star review for the Sharpshooter range (calling that owner an asshat in a review was a mistake on my part).
