History
Established in 2008.
One day in Taiwan, after a business meeting, our founder took a group of young businessmen next door to a five-star hotel to celebrate their success with an afternoon tea. At the café, he found the prices were too high for everyday people to enjoy. At that moment, he envisioned a café which provided affordable luxury, the finest quality coffee, cakes, and breads for everyone to enjoy.
The first 85ºC Bakery Café opened in Taiwan in 2004. We currently have cafes in Taiwan, China, Australia and are proud to open our first café in the USA in Irvine, CA.
85ºC is the perfect drinking temperature to serve coffee. We use premium Guatemalan Antigua Arabica espresso beans. We individually brew each cup of coffee for a smooth, rich taste. Our gourmet cakes have been specially crafted by Taiwan’s top chefs. We also feature an in-shop bakery with over 80 varieties of breads baked fresh constantly.
Our five star chefs have worked hard to develop the best recipes for pastries, breads, and cakes!
