5 Points Pawn Shop

Great, friendly atmosphere. I didn’t feel like piecing a bunch of my stuff out on eBay so I decided to come here and see what they would offer. Rosie is very friendly and fun to negotiate with lol. She worked with me and offered me a fair deal for my stuff. I’m happy I got some stuff off of my hands and made some money in the process.

Rosie was very helpful. Try hard to give me top dollars. I know she understood it was hard for me to let go of my precious possession.

People working there were amazing! They gave me the best deal on an item that I no longer wanted. Would definitely go back! Very precessional and clean too!

Came in with a few items and wanted to see how much I would get. This was my second time trying to pawn some items, but first time here. I was a bit skeptical since I had a bad experience at the first pawn shop I went to. So I get there and Jamie greeted me as if she knew me! She made me feel at ease and comfortable. It was like we had known each other for ages. She beat the price from the first place I went to and was sold! I will definitely go again and I highly recommend you go with Jamie. She ROCKS!

So, I was looking for a pawn shop today to sell my camera and fortunately I found this one. I just want to thank both jamie and rosie for their help and friendly customer service.

Came in here with some gold jewelry and an Xbox 360, I’ve never pawned anything before and I was nervous about the experience. However Jamie was amazing! She guided me through the process and was very helpful. I went to a store up the street and Jamie was able to give me a better price and worlds better customer service. If you are in need of a pawn shop this is certainly the best place to go. Thank you Jamie!

One of the cleanest pawn stores I’ve ever gone too! I loved the customer services. Rosie greated me oh so kindly. I got a few items appraised and has been one of the best prices so far. Jamie made feel very at home. If I go back, I hope I close my deal with Jamie.

We visited 5 Points Pawn Shop to pawn some jewelry to pay bills on time in between paychecks. Ask for Rosie! She is honest and fair. We were pleased with the outcome.

Best pawn shop in the South Bay. Very friendly staff and they give you more than any other shop. Plus, the coupon they offer on Unilocal is the only kind I see for any pawn shop in Los Angeles.

I’ve been to this pawn shop several times both selling and buying items. I’ve been pretty happy with their loan service because I’ve taken a good amount of items here, and they gave me the exact amount that I had asked for in cash. And some of these items were turned down at other pawn shops in the area. And the 5 points had no problem giving me my loan. The interest they charge is pretty average, but they do have specials occasionally such as pay only $ 1 interest if you pickup the item within 30 days of the loan date. The only recommendation is that they should work on putting more stuff out on the floor to sell. Especially musical instruments and accessories. pawn shops are a great place to find good deals on guitars and amps and stuff like that. And people like me shop the pawn shops first if we are thinking about purchasing a new «toy». so bring out some of the goodies guys!!! I know you got more stuff than what is avail out on the floor. Because I come through there often to see if you got anything good. And if I find something close to what I’m looking for, and the price is right, then I’m buying, cash money!!!

I am writing an update to my previous review because for some reason it was taken down. No other pawnshop in Torrance pays more than 5 Points. The staff knows how to take care of customers and they are NEVER rude. I am a regular customer and they never let me down. If you need fast cash without the hassle of debating with the bank, come to this pawnshop! Give them a try and see for yourself. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could! Thank you 5 Point Pawnshop! More power to you guys!

Ask for Steve or Rosie! They are awesome. They are friendly and make the selling transaction easy. There are other pawn shops in the area but I would recommend «5 Points Pawn Shop» over the rest! You won’t be dissapointed. Trust me!!!

This place is awful. They were only interested in buying gold and none of my really nice silver jewelry and then they gave me the LOWEST price I’ve heard for my gold. If you’re gonna sell gold, go to a jeweler at the mall. If you’re gonna sell anything else, here won’t buy it so don’t bother.

I went in with my mom who just found out right there that she was pawning my ring, necklace and pendant that she had given me last year. Was not too happy at all with that but she is unemployed and needed money. Steve helped us and saw I wasn’t too happy with my mom so he asked if she wanted to sell or loan, he said he understood I was upset and if there was anything he could do to make me feel better. Him caring made me feel a bit better. She asked for a loan so when she does get a job, she will get my jewelry back. We’ll see in 5 months, lol. Though as bitter as I was parting ways with jewelry, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this shop. Steve gave a great price for our loan!

Sold some gold here, we checked in with all the nearby pawn shops and they all offered about the same for the gold but 5 points hooked us up with a little more for being first time customers. They seemed eager to make us satisfied with our experience. Overall positive experience.

WASTE OF TIME!!!
So I went to sell some tools I had laying around but did not use. They refused to take anything but 1 brand new Dewalt nail gun (and gave me a really cheap price, cheaper then the pawn shop next door). They also made me wait for them to be bothered to come talk to me as the staff was busy surfing the internet and talking among themselves.

I had been looking for a ring that I could wear with anything and I was driving past and decided to stop in and ended up finding exactly what I was looking for. The service here was great, I am very picky but they were patient and took time out to help me find what I was looking for.

i needed to pay a bill and i couldn’t cash my check because it was on hold so i was driving by and i saw 5 Point Pawn Shop I wanted to buy a ring for my mom and the lady who help me was super nice. will definitely go back and make another purchase from them =]
