My Murphy loves going to see Marc and April. Going to daycare at Hydrant really helped him with his separation anxiety, and socialization. I would not trust bringing him anywhere else for boarding. April and Marc treat the dogs as one of their own..

I can’t say enough about Marc and April. They are the nicest, sweetest people I have ever met. They take great care of all the dogs there. They have web cams so you can watch your dog playing outside while you’re at work. They also take tons of pictures and post them on facebook, so you can see how much fun your dog is having without you.
I started bringing my dog to Marc and April a few years ago because things were getting serious with my boyfriend, and he had been bringing his dog there for awhile. Now, we are married, and we buy unlimited daycare and boarding for the two dogs. It’s worth every single penny. We don’t ever have to worry about rushing to pick up the dogs if something comes up at work, they can just stay the night. It’s great when we want to go away for a few days at the spur of the moment, because we don’t have to worry about what we are going to do with the dogs. No more asking friends and relatives to dogsit, or going to kennels where the dogs are kept locked up all day. At Hydrant, they treat every dog like their own.
I can’t recommend Hydrant Regency enough!

Amazing place, can’t say enough about them. They have been watching our dog while we’re away for a few years now. I love the webcams, so I can see my pup while I’m missing him, plus the owners take so many great pictures and post them on facebook! Not only are the dogs so well cared for, they are LOVED!

I brought my two dogs here for a long weekend /​mini vacation. I looked around at a few different places. Some places offered the dogs their own luxury enclosures with tv… but my dogs dont watch tv. Another place I checked lets the dogs run loose but then puts them in a kennel over night with no supervision… kinda scary if there were ever a fire. Hydrant regency stood out because they let the dogs run around, but also live there and can take all the dogs outside if there is a fire (or hopefully they can). It was also a bit of a challenge finding places because one of my dogs is an American Bulldog mix which makes some places nervous. My other dog is small rescue and extremely shy, both were puppies at about 6 & 7 months old.
I contacted the Hydrant Regency and was told to bring in the dogs for a free day care session to see how they fare around the other dogs. Its a great idea and even better that it was free, some places force you to do a day care day but still charge you for the trial. After I brought them for the trial, they had noticed how shy my dog was and allowed me to bring her a few more times to get accustomed before we left on vacation. That was great! She started getting more confortable and would get excited every time I took her out of the car. She recognized the place and would try to run right for the door. By the time my trip rolled around I felt comfortable leaving them there since I had seen them at play on the webcams and saw them interacting more and more with the other dogs. It was also nice to see that everytime I looked at a webcame there was always at least 1 or more people with the dogs and they werent being left alone.
Aside from the free trial, the prices were very reasonable and they allowed me to pick up in the late afternoon without charging me extra. April and Marc were always very friendly and you could tell they love what they do.
I would recommend this place to anyone and would definetly bring my dogs back!
