THE best chicken finger sub that I have tried in the area. You know those subs that are crispy and soft at the same time? That’s this sub. SOGOOD. Plus you can get it for $ 5 on wednesdays! The drinks are suuuuuper cheap. The food is suuuuuper cheap. Good place to hangout and relax with your gal and guy pals.

I’m glad I don’t live to close to this place because I’d be an alcoholic, I’d literally stop in everyday. They run different specials all the time. I’ve been in on every night of the week and have gotten whatever special they run that night and it’s all been good. Its an awesome spot and cheap. It’s a great spot for a game. They have a bunch of tvs and a projection screen so there isn’t a bad spot in the house. They have 4 dart boards and 2 pool tables so even if there is no game on you have plenty of things you can do. If you like cheap bar spots this is the place for you.

Devlin’s Deuce is so much fun. On my way there, I pray to the cocktail gods that Emily or Jess is going to be working. They are so nice and make the best cocktails. The food is awesome, I love the taco salad. The wings are so good, get them hot or cajun(extra crispy) and you won’t ever be disappointed. I love playing music when I’m there… it’s just something about when you hear your song come on, you just want to drink more. Tip your bartenders! cheers!

You don’t come here for the drinks, you come here to eliminate sobriety. Mainly a local watering hole with cheap drinks and cheap food. They have good wings and chicken fingers. Their onion rings are excellent. They literally have food and drink specials everyday. If you’re out to catch a game they have plenty of TV’s and the place is huge. You can even shoot some pool or play darts. The main problem I have with this place is the atmosphere and the cleanliness issues. It is the true epitome of a dive bar. Mostly locals 40+ seem to frequent this place. If you come in pajama pants and a wife-beater no problem, show up looking dressed up and you’ll definitely feel out of place. The bathrooms are absolutely terrible, they leave the men’s door open otherwise the smell would kill you. The entire bar has a weird smell to it kind of like an old folks home. The constant battle against fruit flies is enough to make anyone crazy and it seems to be getting worse. This bar could be so much better if they«cleaned up their act».

Yay! I’m a fan(that’s what it says when I click 4 stars, and it is the truth). I am saving one star in case they ever do renovations some day so it isn’t so dreary and seedy inside. However, I do quite enjoy the Deuce! It is a great place for locals, and the food is very good for bar food. I hate turkey in all forms, but their turkey sub is something to write home about. It is served with the bread toasted, and I don’t know what Hogwarts graduates they have working in the kitchen, but the sub is nothing short of magical. I will not eat turkey at any other time besides when I am at the Deuce. I sometimes even get cravings for these subs! I have also had the steak in the grass sub, but it was average compared to the turkey sub. I truly don’t know what it is about the turkey. I don’t THINK they put anything out of the ordinary on it, but again, I never studied at Hogwarts, so who knows what kind of magic is involved. The pizza is delish, and I am not sure about the wings because I don’t eat chicken. Everyone I am with always seems to enjoy them though! I have also heard that the chicken in the grass sub is great. Overall, good bar food and it’s inexpensive. The atmosphere here is also neat, because you’ll tend to run into someone you know every time you’re here. They have pool tables and dart boards that are always in use, and there is a jukebox so that the patrons are in charge of the music selection(big fan of that, love getting my dance on when I have some liquid courage hehehehehe). Definitely a neat place to stop by, and they have daily specials too!

I know the Deuce isn’t the best place but it makes my wallet happy! Sunday’s is normally when I like to visit, Joe and Colin are great bartenders and make my stay enjoyable EVERYTIME I visit! Cheap wings, pizza and beer/drinks you can not go wrong! I was actually just there on Monday and they offered $ 1.75 well drinks and domestic drafts and ½ cold subs for $ 1.75 as well… yes i said $ 1.75! They also offer $ 5.00 pizzas(I forgot what night that special is) I don’t think they ever DON’T offer a special, there’s ALWAYS a special of some sort no matter what time or day you go! This place is huge they have a large projector and screen too so if you are looking for a place to watch any sporting event I suggest this one. they also offer two pool tables and 3 dart boards as well. Over all good food, awesome specials and great staff!

The Deuce is your typical hole in the wall bar. It looks pretty gross on the outside… and somewhat on the inside but for some reason I keep coming back. It’s the local bar that serves cheap drinks and food and you can always plan on running into someone you know here. This is the kind of bar where it’s acceptable to wear a pair of sweatpants and no one will judge you. I personally think the food is delicious, for bar food. Their pizza and wings are great and their subs are tasty as well. They also have daily specials every night of the week for food and drinks. It’s a great place to come to watch a game, play some darts or pool, or even if you’re looking to go out for a few drinks close to home. It may actually be embarrassing how often my friends and I come here during the winter time, but it’s cheap, convenient, and I always have a good time!

I kind of struggled on how many stars to give the deuce because I do always have a good time here– but it isn’t a 5 star bar. This is the type of bar that you can wear sweatpants and a hoodie and no one will judge you. It’s kind of dirty and has decent service. They do however have cheap eats and daily specials. My boyfriend and I come on Wednesdays for the 3 dollar cheeseburgers– such a great deal! They have a juke box, darts and pool. All of the bartenders are pretty cool and I always seem to have a fun time– but who wouldn’t when drinking is involved? I come here often with friends even sometimes on a Friday/Saturday night and I always run into people I know which is cool! I would recommend coming here on game days or with a group of people. We love to party at the douche!(;

Updated review after multiple visits: Tuesday night bartender: 3. Good, but nothing exceptional. Wednesday night bartender: 4. Very nice and fun. Friday night bartender: 5. Humorous, made me glad I decided to stop by for food. Otherwise, a typical dive bar. Well placed dart boards, and good daily drink and food specials.

The floor is always sticky… but the food is good! Fun place to go with friends and they have good specials. The specials end kind of early though. 5pm I think. You’re also pretty much guaranteed to get hit on or oggled at by some drunk old guy at the bar while you wait for your drink. Not the best bar in the area but its okay.

Easy on the wallet. You get what you pay for. Luckily, you’re not paying much. There’s stuff to do with some pool tables and a couple dart boards and plenty of seating for get-togethers. The atmosphere is fueled by the jukebox which is run by whichever patron wants to blow a dollar on AC/DC. Come for the cheap drinks and cheap foods. Stay because, well, you spent 10 dollars and you’re buzzed, full of wings, and too lazy to leave yet. Just one more and then you’ll go. Maybe two.

Devlin is a Tennis player. He’s not a pond owner, otherwise this would be «Devlin’s Goose.» He’s not a forest ranger, otherwise it might be «Devlin’s Spruce.» He’s not someone that allows himself to be used often, otherwiser it’d be «Devlin’s Use.» And he’s not Canadian, hence why this is not«Devlin’s Moose.» When the scores are level at 40 – 40 in Tennis, it is known as a «Deuce.» And it seems like every time Devvy faces off against Peter Willam Jefferson Sampras, he ends up level at this score in each and every game. Hence the name. I came here late one Tuesday night in order to take advantage of the appealing sign in the window advertising«Single Wings: $ 4.95 on Tuesdays.» Upon arrival, I found out that things were not that simple. Apparently, you have to buy a drink in order to take advantage of the special… so then why say that wings are $ 4.95 in the window with no asterisk or small print or qualifications? And you have to eat them within, you cannot take them away. So I ordered a coke. Usually bars give away a coke because they support designated drivers. They might also charge $ 1 or $ 1.25 or even $ 1.50 for a little plastic cup of coke, or $ 2-$ 3 for a pint glass of it. I was given a little plastic cup of coke… and I was charged $ 2 for it. On the bill, it said«Pint Glass.» Hmm. There was no pint glass. Okay. I found that to be another case of cheap nickel & diming. I hope it was worth it for the extra $ 2, because they lost a star based on this little charade alone. It took about 25 mins for the wings to arrive. Again a little nickel & diming in that there were only 9 wings, and not the usual 10 with a single order. No big deal, I wasn’t going to eat them all anyway. The wings themselves were good, they were crispy and well done and tasty. I asked for«extra saucy» because I like my wings drowning in sauce, and Medium, because I like a nice blend of hot sauce and butter. They got the«extra saucy» part exactly right in that these wings were literally drowning in a lake of wing sauce. However the wing sauce sadly ruined the experience to the point where I’d rather have not come here at all. I think it was either pure hot sauce, with hardly any butter at all, or it was a weird or old form of hot sauce… because it was so sharp and sour and vinegary and grating, that I couldn’t even really stand it. Perhaps because it helps people get more thirsty and buy more drinks… but for someone that doesn’t drink, here just for the food, it was disappointing. I made that«scrunchy face» quite a few times which is much less sexy than when it’s shiny scrunchy-back underwear, isn’t it. I ended up having to take the wings out of the sauce and wipe the sauce off just to be able to eat them. Which is hilarious because I don’t even like them dry and unsaucyishical but in this case, that was much better than the icky and overpowering acidy taste of the sauce. I certainly don’t expect miracles from bar wings but I do take off 1 point for the very poor sauce that ruined the wings, and I take off 2 points for the hidden secret that I would be charged $ 2 for a tiny plastic cup of coke just for the honour of taking advantage of their advertised wing special. Anything that comes across as dishonesty is a huge no-no in my book. Why do you think I give my bank 1⁄5 or 2⁄5. They nickel-and-dime, they get punished harshly in the ratings. The bar itself is full of hot people and cute girls and probably primarily college students, but then again who knows. It’s Amherst, so there is the Amherst attitude(you probably know the one I mean?), but if you’re used to that, you won’t have a problem here. The bathrooms are fine. The music is whatever the patrons want it to be, which is usually the stereotypical blend of «80s, 90s and today» with a heavy dose of «Don’t Stop Believin’» and«Flock Of Seagulls» and an unfortunately sickening dose of Ms. «I only became this popular because I arranged for Kanye West to diss me on stage.» Aka Ms. Clothesmaker Quickly. I hope this review doesn’t start any bar fights. If so, they’ll have to rename this place«Devlin’s Duels.»

It’s a dive bar with cheap eats and drinks. Daily specials on tacos. Wings. Subs. Good place to watch the game with friends. Plenty of space and tons of Tvs. Only down side is it smells of old beer and bleach.

I will continue to recommend this place for brunch, lunch and dinner because it’s great. The service has been decent and I will continue to tell people to come here! I think drinks/food prices are the cheapest i have ever seen in a bar/restaurant. The bar/security staff is super friendly and helpful saying«good night» gives you a good end to your evening. Last time i was in there the Doormen was washing the windows and kindly asked to see ID and apologized for having been washing the windows and the bartender greeted me with a huge smile and made my night. This place is just filled with employees that care and pay attention to the customers needs. If you can find a better place to go for lunch let me know because this place has got what it takes. … P. S. The customers are friendly neighbors

A definite hole in the wall, but decent enough for cheap beer, surprisingly good(and cheap) bar food, and darts. Don’t expect fine microbrews, just your typical local taps.

Came here one day on accident. Whenever I get a big commission check from work, Bradley and I go out to dinner. We were going to go to Ted’s but seeing it was closed(WTF!!!) we decided on The Deuce. I’ve been here to drink a few times but this was my first time I ate here. We had a total fat day and ordered a personal pizza, loaded waffle fries, and 20 chicken wings. We also got 4 drinks. Everything was great! For not being a pizza place, they make some good pizza and wings. The whole bill came to about $ 20! It was a steal! I would definitely come back here. The issue is, it’s a little run down. But that’s not a problem with cheap food and cheap drinks!

I’m not sure how many stars you can give a place like the Deuce haha. Its run down, its kind of dirty, the service is mediocre, but it gets the job done. Its a local place where you’ll find many of the same faces, but what sets this place a part from other local bars and Caputis is the deals they offer. Dirt cheap food and drinks every day of the week! Cheap drinks + Cheap food = college kids heaven.
