VERYVERYPOORCUSTOMERSERVICE(or service in general…)! As a former tenant, I spent many weeks calling and waiting to schedule repairs for problems around the house. It was always such a hassle, and the snarky receptionist always made me dread having to call. However, it was amazing how prompt they were on billing. For example, when our oven handle popped off of the oven door(due to it being cheap plastic, and the screws wore the plastic down until it was too loose to stay attached), it was over a month before they had someone come fix it. Although the repairman was very pleasant to chat with, he ended up coming back more than a couple of times because he couldn’t fix the handle properly. At that point, I was used to being charged for questionable things here and there, but when I went to pay rent the next month and they asked if I wanted to pay the«repair fee» I finally spoke up. I asked, «Why would there be a fee for the oven door falling apart? …Isn’t that service included in rent?» The receptionist replied«misuse of the door.» We were responsible tenants, and always paid on time and now we are getting charged for repairs that shouldn’t be additional charges. I said«misuse of the oven door or just normal use? We’re not sitting on the door until it breaks!» After getting upset and having to explain for 15 minutes why that is a ridiculous charge, she finally took it off our bill. I thought this was maybe just my experience… but after speaking with a few other people who have done business with them and had their own horror stories, I decided to give fair warning! Think twice before gaining major unneeded headaches and hassle!
