Stay away if you have a peanut allergy. Fries are cooked in peanut oil and unshelled peanuts are in the dining area.

Typical Five Guys. Great burgers, quick service, and friendly staff.

I have to admit the only reason I’ve been to this Five Guys is because of a monthly geocaching event. That said, they do a good job with the hamburger, especially when I get it with everything, plus jalapenos, peppers, onions, and hot sauce for the extra kick! Of course, the endless peanuts are a plus too. Also, this is one of the few places with two Coke Freestyle machines so you don’t have to wait for someone else to make up their mind picking a drink.

This place is by far the best place for a burger, it’s a very simple place you can get whatever you want on the burger and the fries are amazing, they even tell you where their potatoes came from that day. Plus you get free peanuts! Love this place!

I don’t understand why people rave about this place. The burgers are lousy, dry & tasteless. Watch them«cook» them, constantly flattening them on the grill(taking all of the moisture our) chopping down the burgers. Jeeze can not help but turn into a hockey puck. What I like about the place is that they post what farm the potatoes are grown. Fries are great, burgers suck. There are many restaurants in the area that serve Angus burgers cooked to you doneness in the area for the same price. This chain cannot compete with the high quality of Fuddruckers.

Really good food! Some of the best burgers and fries I’ve ever had. Quite expensive though and small portions!

Chris always smiling & friendly and Debbie(manager) going around to all the patrons’ tables asking how everything is! Kudos to u all. Thx for a great 5 star experience!

You can never go wrong with Five Guys. Huge portions for both the burger patty and fries. I usually just order the Little Bacon Burger which is about the size of a normal McDonald’s burger. Also, an order of fries can be good for 2 – 3 people already. And of course, the free peanuts are always a nice appetizer while waiting.

Small menu, but everything on it is extremely good! You won’t be disappointed! The hot dogs and burgers are always cooked right and the fries are awesome! They are fresh cut, and if you get a large they will put it in a bag and fill the bag with extra fries. The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because it is a bit on the pricey side for a fast food joint. It’s about $ 4 for a hot dog and $ 7 for a burger. At least it is definitely worth the money.

A wonderful little fast-food chain with some really great burgers! My husband and I had stopped in at this particular location for a meetup group we are participants in. My first impression was that for a Wednesday night, it seemed very busy. The place was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly taking our order. Make sure you realize that if you are only wanting ONE burger on your bun, to ask for a small, because otherwise you get a ton of meat! I do love that I can customize my meal here, and just simply kill a burger craving in no time. I hear a lot from my friends in the West that there is no competition with In & Out Burger, but you know what, this is all I have and it’s incredible food!

the burgers def taste good. Simple MUCH better than any other Fast Food spot. its simple and Quick. not thrills no frills, no server, just pay, then take home or sit down. it was my fav spot(the one in brick) until i discovered a New Spot for a Bangin Burger which i would like to share with U ALL…: CHEEBURGERCHEEBURGERWOWBROTHERWOW! this place has 5 different size burgers including a 20 ounce monster for big boys like me… u can do take out or sit down. servers are friendly and menu has some more options Like wraps, but the BOTTOM LiNE is the buger taste amazingly GOOD!.. but brother, if u get the 20 ounce, nicknamed the«famous pounder» make sure you have a plunger ready and up your fiber intake… Eww i am serious bro! oops i 4got this was supposed to be about 5 guys, yea they are good too.

It might seem strange that I am giving a «fast food» restaurant 5 stars, but in its particular category, it’s about as close to perfect as it gets. There isn’t a whole lot of great choices for food in the Forked River/Toms River area. Oh, sure, there are nicer restaurants, but strangely I prefer Five Guys. I’ve eaten here maybe 20 times, but only at this particular location. I’ve seen other Five Guys, but usually they are in places where I have more variety in quality food, so I don’t opt for it. Still, for what it is, it is the best. Décor: Not a whole lot to say. A bunch of tables and chairs in a semi-cafeteria style seating. There is also«bar» seating with stools by the exit glass wall. Service: Friendly. Helpful. Generally positive attitude. About as good as you can expect for this sort of establishment. Food: Your options are limited. You can get burgers or hot dogs and fries. I’ve never seen anyone go for the hot dogs, so it’s basically a one pattie or two pattie burger with a huge selection of possible toppings(from cheese and bacon to jalapeño and mushrooms). And all the toppings are free, except for the cheese and bacon. Fries are normal or cajun-style. And everything is huge here! Still, what they lack in variety, they make up in quality – their burgers are some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Even better than more expensive«sit down» restaurants like TGI Friday’s. Certainly the best in the fast-food category(admittedly, I haven’t tried In-And-Out Burger yet). Big, juicy, flavorful, they hit the spot! The fries are also pretty good, especially the cajun-style which has a hint of spice to it. Sodas are the standard fountain fare(self-serve refills), but they offer an endless supply of complimentary peanuts to snack on while you wait for your food. It’s burger heaven!
