Love this place because of the friendly atmosphere with great food! Love the special coffee of the day, and the French toast!

The food was delicious. But, the place itself was a little small. If you’re going to go with a big party, be prepared to crammed in to a smallerthen usual restaurant. It is definitely worth it. It tastes like breakfast from your moms house. You can tell that the eggs are made with tender love and butter. The pancakes are pretty damn good. Overall, if you’re looking for a breakfast joint around the toms River area, then I would highly recommend checking out c&g’s.

New to the area and this café was a charming surprise. The atmosphere and décor were charming and adorable. The owners were kind and present in their establishment. The lunch my boyfriend and I had was delightful. Crispy homemade fries and a pickle were a perfect accompaniment to his pulled porked sandwich. My «crowd pleaser» wrap really did please. Definitely going to make this a regular part of our summers DTS.

Simply put, the whole meal was awful. Chicken and rice soup tasted like water with some nasty chunks floating around. My buffalo cheesesteak special was a sloppy mess. Roll was soggy and the«BBQ» sauce was from a jar or was just ketchup. I will give the one star for the fries because they are homemade and nicely seasoned. This joint needs a little pick me up. Servers were friendly but too worried about Facebook and not a refill on my drink.

Eggs and turkey sausage was a bit over cooked. The corn beef hash was absolutely delicious, and the server Katie was on point.

We went to this little café after reading other Unilocal reviews so I had pretty high expectations, which were only partially met. The service was excellent, but I was a little disappointed by the lack of choices. The kids selection was good and those prices were awesome, but the regular menu prices were a bit high for the quality. Don’t get me wrong, it was good– it just wasn’t great.

Pancakes were good — very light. Rye toast was crispy, as it should be. Sausage patty, while thin, was very good. However, the rest of the meal was horrible. Scrambled eggs should not be brown. Home fries should not be burned, nor should they consist of the bits that are left at the bottom of the pan when most of the large pieces are gone. Eggs over easy should not look like their yolks are hard-boiled. And corned beef hash does not consist of a colorless, barely-cooked patty of frozen hash brown covered in stringy corned beef that has been cut with the grain(hence the strings). Nasty. People on Unilocal raved about this place, so my mom and I decided to try it. Never again.

Terrible, burnt home fries dripping eggs, very young cook with longer hair & bandana, when I asked to cook the raw potato’s he burnt them so I refused them & said I don’t want anything, I saw him thru the window hd the dish way up in the air &yoss them, best of all the older woman with dark hair(owner was there so it means he didn’t care or its a relative. No more breakfast there!

Great breakfast! Fresh food. I always order the Greek Omlet. The only thing I am a little concerned with is that this morning’s Greek Omlet looked noticeably reduced in size and the much smaller little spoonful of the side breakfast potatoes was disappointing as I was looking forward to them. Hoping this was a fluke and next time the portion size will be the way it was. The price is around $ 10.75 for this — not cheap, rather expensive. The quality and quantity had made it worth the price but today’s smaller size was very disappointing.

Had lunch here with my co worker on Thursday afternoon. Love the cute atmosphere. We were seated promptly by a friendly waitress who then took our drink orders. We each had a cup of the cream of broccoli soup and a grilled cheese. Soup was tasty. Grilled cheese was very good, they use white American-yum! Both were served with hot, perfectly cooked fries, macaroni salad and a pickle. Bill came to $ 19 for us both, can’t beat that. I will definitely be back as this place also serves what seems like awesome breakfast too!

Great little breakfast place … Everyone is friendly and the service is great. My dad dreams of the pancakes here they are so good. I love the omelettes– especially and this is hard to admit– the Ms. Piggy. Favorite place of my nieces and nephews.

great food and service. nice, dynamic menu. so glad I found this place. finally an independent, local breakfast/lunch joint that doesn’t stink like a greasy spoon. no desire to ever go anywhere else around here.

I am so mad at myself for not knowing this place existed sooner. Best breakfast in TR by a landslide. It is tucked away in a plaza and a bit hard to find, but once you go here I promise you will keep going back time and time again. Delicious!

Best breakfast and lunch for miles. When we lived in toms river we came just about every Sunday morning. Now, when we drive down this way we try to make sure we can plan a stop :)

I love a great country-style breakfast, and I am never disappointed coming here. Portions are generous and the food is delicious. The sausage gravy and biscuits are a revelation. The décor is cute and the service is awesome.

This is my new go-to breakfast place. I’ve lived around here for years and never knew it was here. Fiancé and I went out to breakfast on a whim and I’m completely blown away. You can’t find grits up here, for the most part, and the fact that their grits are perfect just made my entire day. Rt 37 Heaven left me wishing that my stomach was bigger so that I could eat more. Service was great, atmosphere is charming, food is beyond delicious. Will be back for sure.
