We loved Bay House for years and now we love this new outpost too!(Maybe even a bit more? ;)) If you love Roast Duck, Roast Pork, Japanese fried chicken, Japanese fried squid legs, Katsu, Curry, Bentos, Kimchi fired rice, Tempura, Japanese Croquettes, then this is your spot! So great to be able to find these types of authentic asian foods we love without having to leave the Island. Friendly service. Fast delivery. They know how to make you feel like a valued customer. Not to mention, your taste buds and your tummy happy

I was recommended by a friend. Got to know the manager and was hoping to taste some authentic Asian food. The first couple of time the manager/owner was excited to let me try a small japanese potatoe and onion appetizer. It was very good. The pad thai was too sweet but something not right, the flavor, the fire it was cooked on, it was too wet. I order takeout once or twice a week and realized that every time I ordered from Bay House I was always disappointed with my meals. The prices are high for the amount of food you get. My last take out was the last straw. The pad thai I ordered was so bad: overcooked, chopped up noodled that tasted like pasty glue with absolutely no flavor and no meat. I was so upset and I ended up returning back to a restaurant to return the food. I have to tell you that it was uneditable. Somehow this dish ruined it for me. I don’t think their chef at this location is good. I may try the 574 Bay Street location and stick to their specialty. We’ll see. The owner/manager did not even offer to refund my my money or to make me one of their specialty dishes to say: «Mayble pad thai is not our forte! but let me give you something that is our signature dish!» BADBADCUSTOMERSERVICE and I am tired of wasting my money.

Walking in you would never imagine such a gem in the forgotten borough. The restaurant is chinese owned. They specialize in noodles and rice dishes, I think the name is bay house rice and udon station. They have Chinese/Japanese/Thai/Singaporean dishes as well. I love how I can get asian food without having to take a ferry boat across. Service was exceptional! The moment we walked in I felt like I was like being treated like family. It is great for adults as kids alike. There is a little five year old boy who is so adorable! Good for small groups and they’re opened late(10pm on Wednesday night). They have options for those on a gluten free, vegetarian, vegan diet. They have wine as well. The hot sake was perfect for a cold rainy night. Love this place and will definitely return!

Thought they only served noodles and was surprised by their menu which also caters to vegetarians! My family ordered bbq ribs, curry chicken rice, strawberry mango lemonade, lychee soda, and marinated thinly sliced beef with udon. All were delish! They didn’t have a Unilocal so i thought i’d set it up for them. Will definitely take my vegetarian girlfriend here for seconds. Was served by friendly japanese lady. No parking lot but several muni meter parking spots outside!
