My issues are with the service department. Sales, I thought were great when I used them to find my car, unfortunately it was a rare one and the only one in 2000 miles and that dealership didn’t want to «trade» for it. The sales was the only highlight.
So, now on to the service department issues… I took my car in 10 business days ago and FINALLY got it back tonight. The really bad news, it took probably 15 phone calls, 6 voicemails, & an angry wife having to bitch out the sales guy that I used to get my car back! I’m closing in on the 100,000 mile extended warranty and was wanting to get a couple things done that should be covered while just really needing an oil change and tire rotation. My wife had to pick up my car (2011 Dodge Challenger R/​T). When she got home I noticed my car was filthy on the outside (dust has caked up on top), The sunglass case which I needed replaced (come to find out isn’t under warranty) was not properly screwed all the way in so now it’s hanging down slightly. The compass direction (North/​South/​etc.) on the dashboard is showing blank which I know it was working before! The overhead light in the front must not have been connected to the power so now it doesn’t work and neither does my garage door opener but the sunroof works so no telling what that is.
When I talked to my service guy 10 business days ago I told him all the info he needed for the warranty. He waited till day 8 to finally return my call (after multiple calls in the day to try to get status update on my car) to call and tell me the info I gave him wasn’t working, yet I had another number he could use that had he called earlier ended up being the correct number. This is when the wife called him… I’m very lucky that I had a 3^rd vehicle to use while my car was in the shop this whole time. I am not happy with them! I will be taking my car BACK in in the morning to get my stuff fixed PROPERLY as I’ll be asking to talk to the manager!!!

Made appointment to have Jeep Grand Cherokee recall done they kept car for a week before doing repair said they only had 1 person who could do the work — appointments mean nothing — was told it takes 3 days to even look at car

First of all, the prices listed online are BOGUS. The «discounts» are highly conditional, and you can’t get close to the listed price in reality. Secondly, the online price doesn’t reflect all the dealer ad ons… like a $ 700 GPS tracker on ALL the vehicles. So, before I knew all this, I went to a salesperson based on a referral. He asked my budget and then straight up told me there were no trucks on the lot new or used that would fit my budget. Well, I HAD done my research, and there were several I could afford if the price listed were attainable. So, moving on, he proceeded to show me a truck about $ 14,000 out of my price range??? I told him it was nice, but I can’t afford it. In the meantime, my boyfriend was looking for the cheaper trucks, as it was clear this dude wasn’t going to show them. My boyfriend was looking at the trucks on the fence line, when the sales guy exclaimed «those are all 2016» okay, fine. About that time, my boyfriend does locate the cheaper 2015 along that line. He said «I thought you said these were all 2016?» To which the salesman says «I never said that!» At that point, I was done in my mind, nonetheless, I was going to listen to the offers. He tried to get me to lease, to extend my payments to 72 months, after I told him both options were not practical for my situation. Just as I was about to walk, he said «well, I might be able to get down about $ 1500 more» which, by the way, was still not CLOSE to the price listed on line. They lost my business. I get it if I simply can’t afford the car, but don’t drag me in with phony online prices and then lie to me when I get there.

I am sad I had to give them one star. We drove 1.5 hours to buy a truck that is on their website for $ 34,000 when we talked to them they said yes it was there. And it was but it had $ 9,000 upgrades put on it and they are now trying to sell it for $ 58,000. This place is joke. Do not ever give a salesperson what you owe on your current vehicle that how they come up with their trade in value. Our sales lady told us that we needed to tell what we owe on our vehicle or she would lose her job and she needs to feed her 3 kids too. Crazy Crazy Crazy I added photos to show you

Bought a brand new Dodge Longhorn Laramie in 2012. After many issue with the dpf filter the service manager talks us into having some work done at the Dodge dealership, well now we just had a turbo go out and a they are telling me because the other work had been done they won’t cover the turbo under warranty, even though truck only has 65k miles on it and now they are refusing that they had done the other work. Dont trust this de3alership all they want is the work they can make money off of, and wont back up their work.

Don’t buy a car or truck here… Service is the worst I made that mistake once go somewhere else they have 0 customer service

This experience has been absolutely ridiculous. We bought a brand new 2015 jeep on August 5^th. Traded in a 2011 avenger that we still owed on with the guarantee of a 10 day pay off. Here we are 35 days later and the avenger is not paid off. We have had to make 2 payments for a car that is no longer in our possession so that it won’t adversely hit our credit.
Meanwhile our jeep payment should be due. When we called to make it, the company we are supposedly financed through has never heard of us!
Tomball jeep has filed no paperwork for this deal in the last 35 days.
Every time we call the finance manager josh, he won’t take our call and if we do get to him through the receptionist he says he doesn’t know «Let me look into it» and then we never hear from him again.
We came in the dealership this morning when they opened to speak to a manager or general manager and we were made wait 35 minutes even though the situation and how unhappy we were was explained before we walked into the finance director, BJ’s, office.
Upon greeting him he says he is «busy» and proceeded to text on his phone rather than help us. He would provide no information in regards to when the general manager would be in and just kept saying nothing was his call to make.
My husband is in the oilfield and even though they know he leaves for work today, they have been completely unhelpful and unprofessional.
As far as I’m concerned, they are holding the car we do OWN and are required to make payments on hostage and I am driving around a jeep that as far as paperwork goes, I don’t even own.
I would give zero stars if possible.
On top of everything I am 36 weeks pregnant and this was supposed to be a pleasant «mom car» buying experience. Instead, we have no new vehicle in our name, are making payments on a car we don’t have with the possibility of having to make a double payment on the jeep at any time because it is on auto pay if the paperwork is ever filed. It is absolutely stressful and horrible.
Don’t waste your time here. It is a mess.

On the 31^st of August I called about a recall on my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The first person I spoke with put me on hold for 15 minutes so I hung up and called back. The second person I spoke with ran the last 8 digits of my VIN and notified me that yes, my particular Jeep was an N-​47 recall and it would be fixed at no cost to me, Great! September 3^rd was my day off. At approximately 7:45 A.M. I called and spoke with Service Advisor Nate Kendall and asked if I could bring it in and wait. He told me it would probably be a few hours but that would be fine. I spoke with Nate again when I arrived at around 9 A.M. After waiting the better part of 2 and a half hours, I spoke with Nate, yet again, when he informed me that parts were not even available until the 15^th of September. This time, I found him to be less than friendly and in fact quite rude! Why was I not notified of this when I called at 7:45 A.M. or on the 31^st of August for that matter. Instead I wasted 2+ hours of my time and my gas.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, the plot thickened and I had to call the dealership, yet again, when I got home. This time to ask to speak with a service manager and request the name of the Technician that was so hard up, he deemed it necessary to steal a dollar and some change out of my center console. Still I got nowhere, which brings me here. I went in for a recall on an extension of my gas tank, the Tech had no business even being in my center console. I’m glad I took my $ 200 Ray Ban’s with me or I have no doubt those would have disappeared also! Is this the type of business they run? Where their Technicians take what doesn’t belong to them? Believe me, I’m not all too concerned with a dollar and some change, it’s the principles. I work in the Automotive industry and I find this type of behavior to be entirely inexcusable!
I urge you DO NOT LET THIS STEALERSHIP TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE! They are theives and some of the RUDEST people I’ve ever had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with. When I finally did speak to management, I was basically called a liar and hung up on. This place is a joke, please save yourself the headache, if I could give them less than one star I would!

Whenever you’re in the market to purchase a vehicle, their customer service is amazing. After you purchase a vehicle, the quality of service plummets. Don’t ever fax anything to the dealership. Apparently the receptionist gets the fax and throws it out because the documents never reach the intended destination.

Oh i’m sad to see so many bad reviews for these guys. My husband and I have been in the market for an SUV (changing out of a sedan) for a while now. We got there fairly early in the day and were promptly greeted by Todd Wheeler. Todd was super helpful we test drove a bunch of cars that day. We even left and went down the road to the Toyota dealership to test drive a few other choices.
After going to Toyota my 3 yr old was pretty cranky so we went home to let her take a nap. Todd called to check on us and when she woke up we went back to Tomball Dodge. Again Todd took great care with us. He was able to answer all of our questions, and I realize that he’s a salesguy and that it’s his job but honestly with the past 3 cars I’ve bought the guys knew about as much as I do about cars. Todd answered every question we threw at him. My husband did a bit of hard negotiating and we drove off in a brand new Jeep (THAT I LOVE!!!) They have a play room to keep the kids occupied and everyone was very nice. So long as the great customer service doesn’t stop at buying the new car these guys have a customer and a fan for life. My dad brought his car in for an oil change 2 weeks ago. Soon as he left he heard a noise in his engine. He drove it to Sealy thinking it would stop but it didn’t. So when he came back to visit he went to get it checked out today. It took 3 hours to tell him that it was because his gas cap was loose. Which is strange because my dad did not have to refill since his oil change. Then the guy told him that sometimes you have to drive it around to let the oil circulate. He then told my dad that the noise lets up when you take your foot off the gas so it has to be the tires.
Can they make up their minds on what the problem is??? My dad left there went and got new tires and the noise is still there. Sounds fishy!!!

This has been the longest car buying experience of my life.
I went into this dealership expecting to find what I found at the other Dodge dealership.
I was completely heart broken after walking away from a really good deal on the truck I really liked. My expectations were low, not of the dealerships, but of finding my automotive soul mate.
I walked in around 5pm and departed at 9:45pm. (*****)
The warranties are not as good as the other Dodge dealer, but I can manage.
All the trucks I looked at came with a dealer installed Anti-​theft GPS tracking system. (*****)
I initially spoke with Todd in internet sales and I got handed off to Sunny Ahmed on arrival. Sunny was very nice and made good conversation with me. I had a difficult time understanding him at times, but I just asked if he could repeat himself, no biggie. He did however confuse me and I didn’t feel in control of the deal at times. But he did good by me in the end. I just had to be confident in my negotiating skills.
After looking at quite a few trucks and not finding exactly what I wanted, he showed me a brand new arrival. A 1500 Ram Lone Star 2×4 in Black Forest Green; it was love at first sight!!!
I had been dead-​set on a 1500 Ram Lone Star 2×4 in Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat, and it turned out that wasn’t at all what I wanted. :/​
I did a lot of leg work, and it took my husband and I about a month to decide exactly what vehicle to purchase. It just so happened that Tomball Dodge advertised a 50% off sale on 2015 1500 Rams this very day, and I took the bait.
I didn’t «qualify» for all the rebates and incentives for the 50% off price, but I think I managed to come out on top with this deal. I’m ecstatic with our new truck, even if I didn’t show it when we sealed the deal. ;P Momma’s got a new toy!
I hope it’s a long time before I have to do another vehicle purchase negotiation, it’s time consuming and very frustrating; but that’s the nature of the beast.

Tomball still gets 1 star from me. Again be warn possible future customer of this company lack of action and honesty and just plain people skills. It took complaining publicly on Unilocal and Google and BBB before Tomball reach out to me to say they had also paid the bill from Enterprise 4 months after the car had been rented and Tomball had promise to cover the rental car charges on my warranty car repair with Tomball dealership.
With all do honestly I did get my refund from Enterprise this week and I have been made whole again but it has taken 6 months to get there and I was TOTALLY ignored by Tomball for well over 2 months of trying to talk to Tomball myself and have them paid Enterprise so that I would not get charged.
BOTTOM LINE is there Assist Service Manager Renee TOLD Enterprise to billed me and that Tomball was NOT going to pay the rental car bill. Enterprise ended billing my credit card that day eventho the rental car was setup thru Tomball dealership for my warranty car repair. 4 months later Tomball also paid Enterprise but I never knew about it and never got my refund until 6 months later today and having to contact Enterprise myself over the matter.
Just be warn that when this company, Tomball Dealership, says they will cover your rental car bill… GET IT IN WRITING and hope your service rep does not quite the company and leave you hanging.

Mine is their 9^th review. The 8 previous reviews have averaged out to a 1 star rating. I have written 500 reviews on Unilocal so far and this is only my 11^th 1 star review. Therefore, now they have a 1 star average after 9 reviews.
About 6 weeks ago, I requested an Internet bid from this dealership for a new car that I wanted to buy. The internet dept. of the dealer sent me a quote for a car with the specs that I requested. The price was fair to me so I went to the dealership and was introduced to a salesman (Matt) that would help me with my sale. The salesman told me that the car was not on their lot but he could go get it from another dealer that was about 50 miles away. This was fine by me and I told him I would buy the car. He said that he would have the car in his possession in 3 – 4 days which again was ok because I wasn’t in a great hurry for the car. I asked if I should pay for it now and he said I couldn’t until they had the car in their possession.
The next week the salesman called me while I was on a business trip to inform me that the car had been sold by the dealer that had it and therefore was no longer available. He said that this happens sometimes. He then informed me that there was another car several hundred miles away that was spec’d out like I wanted except it had the bigger wheels which I didn’t want. He said that he could guarantee me that car if I would buy it and not charge me the extra charge that the larger wheels cost. I thought about it during our phone call and told him that I would buy that car. I made it clear to him that I was ready to buy a car from him and had the money ready to pay for it. He said that his dealership would get the car put on a truck and delivered to his dealership in about one week. I said ok.
I waited a week and then called him to inquire as to the status of the deal. He didn’t return my phone call but instead sent me a text on my cell phone that the car would not be coming because his manager had killed the deal. He said that he was sorry but there wasn’t anything he could do.
He had known for several days that the car was not being delivered yet he never called me to let me know. I had made plans to sell my old car upon his guarantee to deliver the new and this killed deal caused me some stress and anxiety over buying the new car and selling the old.
I immediately drove to the dealership to talk to him but when I arrived he was out of town at a meeting. I then went to see the Internet sales manager who had originally offered me the first deal and explained what had happened to him. He told me that was embarrassing with the way this had been handled. He assured me that he would discuss with upper management of the dealership and that this situation would give me even more leverage in getting a good deal from them. I left and waited for the phone to ring the next day. It never did. I then went to another dealership and purchased the car I wanted which they had in stock. To this day, the dealership has not called to even apologize let alone try to sell me a new car.
This dealership is absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t buy a car from them and will never set foot in their lot. They lied to me many times during this process and made it impossible for me to buy a car from them. Do not come here.
If you want a brand they sell, go to one of their competitors. They can’t be this bad!!!
P. S. Notice on how some of the other reviews management has responded to the Unilocal post apologizing and asking the writer to call them to work something out. You don’t see that below my post do you? Lol!
I would recommend they give up on trying to explain themselves on Unilocal.With the number of reviews they now have and their very low score its obvious that you should not go here. I feel sorry for all of the people who don’t use Unilocal!!!

Jeff Norrod will make things happen. Highly recommend him for your next auto sale. He will take the time to find you the best deals, no one else has put son much time and effort into helping me get into a car. Jeff is the best salesman to seek out.

These people are the reason most of us despise buying a new car. I spoke to a lady over the phone, after she said they had what I was looking for I went in. As soon as I get there they say the girl I was speaking to wasn’t actually a sales person. I thought that’s fine, so they send me to some guy (can’t remember his name due to the rage I was in when I left) anyway we go test drive the truck. It fitted what I wanted. So we go back to his office and they start with the high pressure sales tactics. I told him simply I didn’t not like those games, we can negotiate but no BS. Well about that time his «manager» and old alcoholic looking guy comes in and starts shouting out numbers. He says he can’t do for X price because he would lose money (btw I got below what I thought at a different dealership). Then he starts saying he could do around sticker (don’t let them BS you, even with T, T, L if you pay sticker you’re an idiot. Anyway they start that typical game of waking back to the back room and coming back saying, «oh man do you think you can do this price». I told him no, then he slaps down a blank piece of paper and says «ok if I can do this price will you buy now. Sign the paper saying you will.» I was kind of shocked by this tactic. It was a blank piece of paper and obviously had no legal weight. Anyway after about two more trips to the back they start getting all annoyed and raising their voices how i wasn’t being reasonable. I told them I was done and walked out, some guy says «when you find out you can’t get that price come back and we’ll still sell it to you.»
I have never dealt with such arrogant assholes in my life. I implore all of you to avoid this dealership, they are sleazy salesman and will just ruin your day.
By the way Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep gave me the best price and there was 0 haggling and 0 dealing with the «back room.» Ask for a guy named Larry C. Needless to say as long it would have saved me so much time.
One last thing, I’m sure the manager will respond. I called him after I left and he said «I’ll take care of it» I never heard back and frankly doubt he did anything other than tell them to keep going. With all the nasty reviews it’s obvious this is how that dealerships trains people.

Came for an oil change. 1 and a half hours later still waiting. Not sure what I was thinking coming here. This is the express service. No appointment required.

The sales staff was friendly enough. The prices were fine but not exceptional. Based on sales alone, I’d rate them two, maybe three stars. But our problems with this dealership come with their service department.
We’ve had our Jeep into the shop now five times, and they have yet to actually fix any of the problems. The freedom panels leak. The first time, they just cleaned the seals, re-​seated the panels, and declared the leak fixed. When we brought it back because it still leaked, they replaced the door seals, and the leak is now worse.
We also have had a check engine light on and rough idle. The first time they reprogrammed the ECM, cleared the code, and returned it to us. The light came back on the next day, same code, and this time they replaced a cylinder head (turns out this is a known issue; they should have replaced the cylinder head the first time). The check engine light came back on within a couple days after this repair. Not sure what’s the problem now because they’ve had the car a couple days and our service writer doesn’t return our calls (and apparently the other service people can’t bother to find out for us).
Update: The latest problem was because they had damaged the thermostat housing during the previous repair.

Terrible terrible terrible service! And when i called to try to figure it out i got a rude attitude from the Manager from the used car department all i wanted was another key for the car we recently purchased and that was agreed upon in the contract. Also needed to replace the windshield also was agreed upon had to do all the scheduling for that appointment myself with an outside vendor, they told me they have a key guy his hours are 9 – 11 a.m. on mondays only, wow wish i had that schedule! But i don’t because i have a full time job, and apparently he cant do any other time guess ill be taking care of this myself as well thanks for nothing. Hope this reached the Used car manager who i asked to be transferred to his manager and i got the front desk! your service has been sub par once i signed the dotted line.

Correction to the response below we had to take a day of vacation to take the vehicle there to get the key made because you were unwilling to work with us. Also no the windshield company, they did not come onsite I took the vehicle to them, you would know that but I was the one who contacted and correlated all of that scheduling. My review remains correct however finance department was very helpful.

Don’t walk in here expecting a better service than a Walmart. based on my experience with other dealers and Service auto repairs I give this one 1 start for 2 reasons. I went there for a battery change that I could have done my self but the car needed an oil change so I figured «mind as well»… After finding out they would charge me $ 130 for labor to change it, I wanted to leave but my car didn’t start. He said that there was a good chance that the alternator was bad, but he needed to replace the battery first (this sounded odd but I disregarded it). I expressed to them that the change for a battery was ridiculous, so he «got it down» to $ 65 and and was going to put me in like a «family discount» for Half Off oil changes. I know you are think $ 65 to change a battery but in this one you have to take the tire off and the battery cost was $ 140(at first). I just thought «wow» ok that sounds great (just like other places), so I left it there for service.
He called me with a $ 355 invoice. The itemized prices were off when I spoke with him on the phone and changed again when I showed up upset to pick up the car. Now there was no such thing as a family discount and they charged an hour of labor for checking the engine light?(that is normal when the car computer gets reset). They didn’t even set the clock in the car which would be a courtesy at any other place.
For that kind of money on a Dodge Journey they would even wash your car at other places, but my low review does not come from the price, it comes from DISCLOSURE. They should have been straight up with what they wanted to charge me instead of playing around with a clients trust. An honest business is much more appreciated… If you go there, at least watch for Vernon or you will regret it
