Specialties

Three Dimensional Visions — Glass Blowing Houston is an open access hot glass studio. We do glass blowing, kilnforming, ceramics and fabrication in support of glass. We have live glass blowing demonstrations and a studio showroom & art gallery featuring our work and that of other artists. We love glass & can make your dreams come true through commission work. We offer a variety of glass blowing workshops & instruction as well as the ability to provide a unique space to host your social or corporate events. Open house & live demonstrations the first Saturday of each month. Check our website calendar for dates & time. Come on by and join in the fun.

History

Established in 2014.

When we got ready to retire from geoscience and college art instruction we were examining our next steps. Michael said, «I have always wanted a glass blowing studio». We visited studios and took some classes in Seattle, Tacoma, Colorado and Texas. We fell in love with the magic of glass and especially its properties when it is hot and the process of glass blowing. We searched for a location, found it and have been working on making it a fabulous destination location for glass blowing classes, workshops, and experiences. A place where you can experience the magic of glass and its properties when it is both hot and warm. We do glass kiln forming — casting, fusing, slumping & draping. We are a great venue to hold your team building events, social club meetings, school field trips, and receptions. Come on out and join in the fun.

Meet the Business Owner

Sally M.

Business Owner

My husband, partner and best friend — Michael Kerry Brown — and I started Three Dimensional Visions. After 35 years as a geoscientist who explored, developed, and produced energy minerals I am now creating art works, teaching workshops, and sharing both my knowledge of science but glass making. I have learned a lot from my 30 year artist partner and have been taking classes in glass blowing, glass fusing, pottery, and jewelry making. Come on by and join in on the fun. Michael has an MFA in sculpture and has been working with glass since 1999. He started with kiln forming and has now branched out into glass blowing. He is the heart of our creative design and is a fabricator extrordinaire.
