Specialties
We grow California native and drought tolerant plants from grasses to perennials to trees. We sell them mostly in small pots and gallons to retail and wholesale customers. We have certified organic vegetable starts in the spring and fall along with native annuals.
History
Established in 1984.
We started out with a few natives in an empty horse pasture and built up from there with the goal of growing plants that would thrive on the coast with minimum care and water. Natives are our true love but we’ve discovered other plants that do as well and are less attractive to the deer. We’ve now filled up the horse pasture and continue to learn from each other and our customers. We’re a half hour west of Petaluma, south of Bodega Bay and north of Point Reyes Station on Highway One in the tiny town of Tomales.
