We live within a mile of this Wendy’s and went about 5 – 6 years between our most recent visit and our last, horrible visit. We wanted Wendy’s and felt that long of a break could be good, and that they possibly could have fixed the problems. The problems were the quality and presentation of their food. The fries were ALL dark brown, overcooked, dry, and old. The sandwiches were basically thrown together and were a complete mess. This was out last visit, 5 – 6 years ago. Our recent visit was even worse if that is at all possible. The workers are rude and don’t understand that they are representing a business. They ignore customers and don’t listen to what customers want. The food was exactly the same as our other visit, very embarrassing for Wendy’s. I ordered an Arnold Palmer, half tea, half lemonade. When we got home, I took a drink and it was all unsweetened tea, no lemonade at all, hence the not listening part. The fries were exactly the same, dark brown, overcooked, dry, etc. the food was all cold, not warm, but actually cold. Then the problem got worse when I decided to fill out a survey, then send a separate email to Wendy’s to voice my concerns. They responded by saying they are sorry for our past experiences. Then they send us a coupon for two free meals. On the coupon it says that we can only use it at THATLOCATION!!! Why in the heck would I want to go back to that location. The staff and managers just don’t care. Needless to say, Wendy’s as a whole is not my first choice when we want fast food. I don’t like boycotting places when one location is bad, but the corporate office just doesn’t seem to care about the customers either.

Unbelievable… we took our two sandwiches up to the counter(nicely) because they where both incorrect. The girl in the back that made the sandwiches was upset. said she wasn’t making new sandwiches. .said she didn’t give a fuck. and so on. I heard someone say oh you had a rough day, go home, and come back tomorrow. Wow man!

I’ve been here a few times. I remember when I went through the drive-thru once they basically threw my Spicy Chicken Sandwich together. I was confused as to if it was even a Spicy Chicken Sandwich, it looked like a sandwich off the $ 1 menu and that’s a $ 4 sandwich! So not impressed :-(

My coworker and I were driving from Toledo to Detroit to catch a flight, and we were hungry and needed a place to change out of our work clothes. We saw a sign for Wendy’s along 280 and decided that would do. I normally don’t review fast food places because A) I usually steer clear of fast food joints and B) a thousand people have usually already given their opinions, so what good is mine going to do? Well, I’m taking this opportunity to write a review that will hopefully prove meaningful to anyone who is thinking of going to this Wendy’s. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with no mayo. Normally even when I say«no mayo» they add it anyways. In this case, they did not. The sandwich was good. The fries were just okay – a few had the rancid-oil taste that I fear from fast food places. The food gained a generous 3 stars from me. This 1-star review isn’t about the food. It’s about the service and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The girl at the counter took my coworker’s order while I was changing in the bathroom(more on that later), and then I placed my order about 5 minutes later. After taking my order, she proceeded to chat it up with a friend at the counter for a good 5 minutes. We were the only customers in the restaurant, so I guess that’s okay, but as it turns out, our orders were ready and sitting on the counter right beside her. She never even acknowledged that these were our orders. We had to go up to the counter, verify that these were our to-go bags, and reach across the counter ourselves to grab them. The service was non-existent. The bathroom situation was less than ideal, as well. I really don’t require much, but a lock on the door is essential. The door and frame were slightly at odds with one another, so you had to give the door a little shove to get it to close all the way. Then the lock was busted. So, while I’m doing the awkward changing-in-a-gas-station dance(standing on top of shoes, attempting to keep all bare skin from touching ANYTHING), I’m also monitoring the door, making sure that no one’s walking in on this scene. All in all, we were hungry, dirty, and running low on time. Wendy’s was there. As I’ve said already, the food wasn’t the problem. Some people just need to take their jobs more seriously and make the customers feel wanted. If I’m ever in the same situation again, you can bet I won’t come back to this Wendy’s.
