We are a family owned Scratch bakery, producing daily… a variety of doughnuts, handmade pies, melt in your mouth cookies, breads, pastries and cakes for every occasion. Our specialties are Wedding Cakes and the best Apple Fritters in the Midwest baking belt, maybe the World!

History

Established in 1978.

A humble beginnings from a Michigan farmer’s market booth, where tasty treats were baked, in our home kitchen, loaded up in the family vehicle and driven some 40 miles to market. Since, we have transitioned our selves into a thriving full line bakery, now serving the Toledo Ohio area. Undaunted by all the pitfalls that would end any small family business and driven by our passion to create artwork from flour, sugar, eggs and butter, we have to the delight of our patrons become a staple in the Toledo community. The unmistakable aroma of a job well done, escapes our ovens and fills the air as customers press their faces against the showcases filled with wonderful confections. Our stand alone bakery on Holland Sylvania, welcomes the fourth generation of our family to continue the mission started by their Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother. Their new outlook will carry on old traits of Artisan Scratch baking and will present new products and old, to our ever changing society.
