Very good experience.
Winston and Aaron were my movers and did a great job. Very professional guys and very efficient and fast, yet careful and arrived right on time.
I was nervous about how to arrange my furniture at my new place and they gave me a couple suggestions and the place looks great and everything fits fine.
I had originally planned on using Two Men and Truck but found out they wouldn’t disconnect or connect appliances and Maumee said it wasn’t an issue. They were only $ 10 an hour more than Two Men and had a lot better ratings and well worth the price difference even if you don’t have appliances. I had an newer expensive washer and dryer at my old place I wanted move and donated the set at my new place to my church. No issues with them handling the disconnecting of the machines at either place and reconnecting them at the new place. I found out that there were screws that should have been left by the installers for the washing machine to keep the drum in place that I wouldn’t have known about if I would have done the machine disconnect myself. Fortunately Lowe’s was just down the street and I was able to drive there and have them give me a set while they finished moving other stuff so that saved me possible damage to the washing machine. I also found out the outlet in my new place was different than the one in my old place so I was able to swap the cords on the machines, if I would have done the install myself I wouldn’t have caught it until after the other machines were gone so it saved me some time and money there as well.
If I have to move again I will definitely call Maumee Valley. Well worth it.

I have now had the pleasure to work with Maumee Valley Moving Company on two moves — one personal (partial-​pack) move and one business move. Both moves had lots of details to work out and they answered my (endless) emails almost immediately. I got a fair quote, talked about ways I could help bring my price down (finding some of my own packing materials), and eventually agreed on an estimate.
For my personal move, we had a two-​day move from Ann Arbor to Toledo (packed/​loaded one day, unloaded the next) and had an amazing crew. They were punctual, efficient, polite, professional, and worked their butts off. They were done in far less time they anticipated, and my final bill was far LESS than my estimate (how often does THAT happen?!).
For my business move, I started a new job where I had to move set pieces and costumes from our storage facility to a theatre for a performance. Again, lots of details changed many MANY times and Maumee Valley answered my dozens of emails promptly and helped me work out all the details. This was a two-​truck, two-​day move as well AND a major snowstorm (Level 3!) happened on the second day of the move. Once again, they showed me their professionalism and quality customer service by responding to my emails immediately to help me figure out what to do.
I would HIGHLY recommend Maumee Valley Moving Company for any move you might need. I’ve moved seven times in the last eight years and this was by far the best moving company I’ve ever worked with.

I had a great experience with MVM.
The movers were friendly, efficient and professional. Great value for the move and the movers worked as quickly as they could. One mover would even jog back to the truck on his way to grab more items. I will definitely be using MVM for all of my future moves.
